How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

As soon as we walked through the door, we felt at home. The space gives out a calm and relaxing energy, the host has thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, and really goes above and beyond, all the small details were noticed and appreciated. The location was perfect and main centre and Beach within walking distance. Thank you Rasha, you have an amazing place and will definitely stay here again.

Rasha's property was like being at home. It was exceptionally clean and Rasha was communicative as soon as I made my booking. Such a beautiful property with everything you would need. Close to the beach for a quick morning walk. Comfortable, clean, relaxing - will definitely return.

nothing comes tro mind!
The property was perfect for our 3 couples, great ducted air conditioning, in fact all facilities were terrific - even the coffee machine! This is a very modern facility, spotlessly clean and fully stacked with all cooking and assosciated equipment. Rasha our host was very thoughtful with her welcome notes and with information regarding the region.

Rasha is an amazing host and was very prompt with thoughtful responses to any questions we had. The house itself is beautiful and well appointed. Very generous bedrooms and luxe beds and linen. everything was absolutely perfect! The pictures of the property don’t even do it justice it was amazing and so so roomy! Rasha was so accommodating allowing me to use the accom for the night before my wedding and get ready in the accommodation. we loved everything about it. They organised a gift for me and went above and beyond in every way! thank you so much for making my day even more special!

The host is very accommodating. It is a beautiful, brand new townhouse, very comfortable with massive bedrooms. The place included WI-FI, linen and towels. The location is also very good, in close proximity to cafes, restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend.

property is brand new and immaculately maintained . we have more than enough supplies and the ducted aircon was a fabulous extra . short stroll to collers beach and also to town . defiantly highly recommend staying there .

Exceptional modern property with lots of space for the family, 3 beautiful bathrooms, lovely furnishings throughout the property, comfortable bedding. Kitchen includes everything you need to makes your own meals. Just a short walk to the beach or a short drive or walk if you prefer to the main shopping district fabulous location. Absolutely amazing hosts, Rasha going above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay.

Impeccable house and service! The hosts were lovely and friendly people who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome! I cannot recommend the stay highly enough, they interacted with us and made sure our stay was extremely pleasant, if or when I’m in the area I’ll certainly be staying there again! It’s a very modern place in pristine condition that is perfectly situated and just a short walk into the centre of town. We were well stocked with all the amenities and communication from the hosts was greatly appreciated! I would definitely encourage anyone to stay here! All the best guys, John Rasha and Alex were amazing hosts during our 3 week stay. The house was gorgeous and they went above and beyond to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed! The house is close to stunning beaches and the local shops so the location is ideal, everything within walking distance. As a company we stay in Ulladulla regularly- and we won’t hesitate to book this property again! Thanks so much for everything- See you when we’re back in Ulladulla! Zoe

We had booked the unit months beforehand to accommodate 5 people in 5 beds. The owner changed it to a unit with only 4 beds the day before we were due to arrive. She did say sorry but that was all.
