Breakfast was nice. Limited options, but a beautiful glass walled room looking out to the garden. Accommodation was serene and lovey to walk around the gardens. Great location within walking distance of the restaurants and pubs in Blackheath.

Luxurious rooms that are well-appointed and secluded. It felt like we were miles from anywhere, yet we were actually quite close to the town centre. The car park even included a charger, which was a nice bonus.

Gas fire shut off after 20 minutes. Didn't restart. Mismatched cups Could only watch tv on the couch, which was not very comfortable. Aircon vents not clean

Not really a criticism but if better quality walkways constructed around the property to enjoy the gardens when grounds are wet would be wonderful.

Parklands is a fantastic hotel, a small number of beautiful rooms, scattered around the gardens, open fireplaces, garden facing (20 hectares of gardens) There is a central lobby with a really nice dining area for breakfast. Parklands is also part of a larger hotel group, including the hydro majestic, as a guest you can share the facilities across all the hotel chain.

Private cottages set in beautiful parkland grounds. Perfect place to escape the city and not too far from the busier towns of Katoomba and Leura.

Wish we had more time to stay longer!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights for our 20th wedding anniversary in Garden Suite with breakfast included. Buffet cold food with a la carte menu for hot food was delicious and more than enough. The interior design and spacious breakfast room and lounge room created such a relaxing atmosphere we didn't want to leave. The cottage style accommodation was private, spacious and very comfortable set-in private garden surrounds, with bird live including ducks. So relaxing. We walked the landscaped grounds including around ponds several times early morning & evening. Easy to speak with all staff including gardeners, very friendly and helpful. Staff showed us photos on their mobile phone of Parklands in different seasons and including when covered in snow in winter. Can't wait to go back and stay during the different seasons. We highly recommend staying here.

Check in was from 3 and we arrived at 3:30 but there wasn’t anyone on reception. There also wasn’t anyone to greet us at breakfast until we reached the bar ourselves. Then when we wanted to ask for a second cup of coffee (it wasn’t self serve coffee and tea) they were stuck at reception with a customer for 20 minutes. It was only when I asked the passing chef if there was anyone available, and she had to find someone. Perhaps this was because it was a Monday, and not the weekend, but at an extra $39 per person for breakfast, I expected a higher level of service, and we were not the only guests in the breakfast room.

The loft room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was lovely. The hotel setting is spacious and I enjoyed the trees and garden.

On our second night, a couple had moved into the accommodation above us, it was very noisy until very late. We didn’t experience this last time we stayed here..
