Upon entry to the room, you immediately see the bed in front of you with a counter beside you. Looking a little into the room you see the toilet and shower area. The toilet was separated from the bed head by the built in cupboard and there are no doors. If you are the type of person who can't talk and watch tv while sitting on the toilet, this might not be for you. However, watching your partner in the shower while laying down can be considered quite romantic.

Astonishingly modern, high quality furnishings. Bed was comfortable, room was very cosy and nice. We were pleasantly surprised to have such a high quality room to stay in because of the country location. Totally recommend. The unit was located within less than 50m walk to IGA, and bottle-o next door.The breakfast was great, plenty of toast, raison toast, spreads, 6 or so different cereals, coffee, tea - what more could you ask for? Not so much romantic as a great getaway room, good for sleeping in but not a huge amount of room to swing a cat. If you wanted a beautiful weekender to take that special someone, this would be good - just not for your honeymoon night. Please dont judge photos for cleanliness as I took them as we were departing the room, not upon entry.

It was so quiet and cosy. The bedroom was absolutely lovely and the bed and pillows were just so beautiful. Easy walking distance to an IGA, a lovely pub with great meals and a beautiful art gallery

The bathroom/shower situation is not at all private. I’m sorry, but some type of sliding door shouldn’t be too hard to install to give some sort of privacy between the room and the amenities.

Booking Peddlars Rest required a bit of a leap of faith as it’s not generally accommodation we would look at. I can honestly say the place was a wonderful surprise. The room was excellent, just the right size for an overnighter, clean & well appointed. The breakfast room was amazing. Cereal, milk, bread, condiments and coffee was very unexpected but also very welcome.

nothing, its really lovely, we enjoyed it very much although there is no view from the room.

small units, super clean, comfortable bed, include continental breakfast, quiet, parking on street or the back of property, in town so easy walk to pub/supermarket/shops. only 5 units so not noisy, next to the pub but they are closed at night time.
