Nothing bad to say about this b&b

The cottage was lovely and cosy, the kitchenette was well equipped, and the basket of breakfast supplies was great. The free wifi was so good, as was the inclusion of Netflix. Access to the historic water tower on the property was a bonus.

Very pleasant breakfast with everything provided. Lovely garden setting with an invitation to enjoy it and pick fruit. Private garden and quiet. In easy walking distance to the town and Sunday market. The owner greeted us warmly and we felt very welcome.

Peg Cottage is a lovely updated historic cottage on a private property. It has everything one needs for a comfortable stay and onsite parking. The food provided for breakfasts was more than adequate and tailored to our needs.

There was nothing to dislike 🙂

We booked a holiday in Hobart with the idea of road trips but as some great things were more north we added in 2 nights at Peg Cottage. A bit like going back in time and what a labour of love the Cottage is from all Julie and Gary's hard work. Lovely setting, great hosts, breakfast basket was perfect and substantial. Thank you.

It was a little cramped for room.

We loved the general feel of the cottage. You could tell a lot of thought and care had gone into the decoration and the consideration of the needs of the guests. Little things like supplying glad wrap and some pantry staples were appreciated. We loved the little breakfast basket with eggs, ham, milk, juice, and bread with real butter. Even though it was compact, you could prepare a simple meal if you wanted as there was a small BBQ and a plug-in hot plate. The location was great for exploring the area. A few kms from the airport, a short easy drive (18km) to Launceston. We stayed 3 days. Hosts were welcoming and friendly.

Nothing - the whole experience was just amazing.

Julie and Gary were the most caring, down-to-earth, hospitable hosts anyone could ever ask for. They made me feel right a home, and were just so accomodating and friendly. The property itself was well maintained and beautiful. Full of nature and greenery, and within walking distance to the town and local markets. Julie even bought me some breakfast goodies which I was able to cook up - simply wonderful. The best stay I have ever had - 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend.

Peg cottage is a wonderful place to stay. You feel welcome as soon as you drive in the gate. Gorgeous cottage, amazing basket of goodies for breakfast, and a lovely garden to relax in.This was a return trip for us, a welcome oasis after a long work day.

Nothing that I didnt like.

The hosts were very welcoming, property was clean and tidy. Lovely little town full of character, great restaurant No 10. Russell Street, superb food. Close to airport and close to Launceston.

Hard to fault Peg Cottage. The heater was a bit noisy, that's about it.

The breakfast supplies were generous as were the other inclusions like big fluffy towels and comfy dressing gowns. Friendly hosts made us feel at home.

This peg cottage is a lovely spot to stay! There is everything you could need for a short holiday, the host was amazing and gave lots of recommendations, and everything was just very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much.

If I could, I'd give a score of 11 out of 10. A beautiful experience staying at Peg Cottage, I felt welcome, warm and very secure. The welcome basket was overflowing with multiple breakfast delights as well as biscuits and chocolate plus there were other treats already there. The towels were fluffy and bed linen crisp. I'll be booking in again as soon as I know when the Supercars are on next year. Thank you so much Julie and Gary.
