Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaGiven different addresses for key collection, confusing. Barely able to read door numbers & far too many keys, not a great start. Even if a joke ‘original artwork JC’ was a bad omen for this uninviting apartment. Clean (barely) but did not want to spend any time there. No batteries in tv remote. Broken wardrobes. Missing pieces of window blinds. 1 bin liner provided, had to search for it and found in a corner of bedroom! Softer side lights would be nicer than stark ceiling lights. Only felt safe because there were 4 of us. Needs serious TLC JC. Not worth the expense! Amen

AustraliaThe stay was terrible Pads left in top draw of bathroom Dirty blinds and mould on blinds Mould on the ceiling of the bathroom (no ventilation) The property had no fans And was like a sauna. Went and purchased some fans Screen Door to balcony doesn’t lock. Front door is difficult to open and close. No can opener Cutlery is loose and fragile 2 frypans so small and old - food sticks to same No sharp knifes -Vaccume doesn’t work unless hold finger on button -Blinds lounge room missing -Curtains main bedroom don’t cover window - so old there see through -Dishwasher top draw won’t come out -Shower had tooth paste stuck to window. -something spilt down side cupboard bathroom -Security Screen door to balcony doesn’t lock -Hair everywhere -Beds in spare room mean you can’t get to door -Internet doesn’t work -front door lock is sticky -garage was filthy.. never been cleaned Dirty linen left on top of wardrobe Stained towels Whole place needs cleaning. Very disappointing stay.

AustraliaNo mention on advertisement there was no Airconditioner, it was stinking hot, it has a broken dirty old pedestal fan, the place had a smell so after moving the long to find what it was I found disgusting mess and rubbish from years of nit cleaning, vacuum cleaner hose broken had to buy a dust buster, clothes dryer cord did not reach the socket to us with no extension cord available, security doors did not work to unluck the unit which made it difficult with only 1 set of keys
