How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

there is a shelf in bathroom above the very small hand bowl, unable to lean over hand bowl to shave or clean teeth, you need to cut out section of shelf above hand bowl

Extremely slow lift, and only one working Ultra tiny bathroom basin and shower door An extra rubbish bin would be handy

The bathroom was a bit small mainly the door to enter the shower. The bed was really hard to sleep on. Had the fire alarm go off while there & no one informed us of what is happening until I went down stairs to ask
For what I needed location was great. Room was good, nice size for the time I was there.

It's an efficient use of space, but the bathroom is small. Like I had to enter the shower sideways and pretty much step back out into the bedroom getting out of it. I'm not sure how you'd manage it with the door closed so maybe don't share with someone you're not willing to be seen naked by.
For a room advertised as a shoebox I was pleasantly surprised by the size. Location is excellent and having parking so close by at a capped price was really helpful. The bed was comfortable and all in all an excellent base for a concert in the city. It had a nice little reading spot on my floor with a book swap area. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Rooms did not have any form of soundproofing, or surrounding guests were too loud, as we could hear EVERYTHING.

Bathroom door did not close at all which was awkward when travelling with teenage son, didn’t like that parking was advertised at property when in reality it was in the next block and expensive.

Shower room is very small and lifts are very old & slow.
Great location, friendly staffs, and great value for money. The room is very small but you only need a place to stay for a few nights, it is perfect for a single traveller.

Showers are a little bit small, if I had to choose something. However it worked fine
The restaurant attachment is amazing. Value for money open all day, bar facilities. The Accommodation gives you value for money. Free tram zone, close to AFL and NRL

Please ensure to inform clients to keep their room card away from magnetic cards etc as they affect it and unable to unlock room door. I didn't know and had to return downstairs to front desk for the door card to be reissued a few times before being told this. Lovely staff fixed this quickly.
Location was perfect for what I wanted. Glad I knew it was classed as shoebox size. Was pleasantly surprised that the room was larger than expected and the bathroom was fine for one person.

small shower doorway but it was OK, just a squeeze for a larger person. I think 1 thing they could add to the rooms would be a luggage table that you can put your case on and have open instead of having to get down on the floor. not a big issue, just a suggestion.
staff were very friendly and helpful. room was clean considering the location I was surprised it wasn't noisy. will definitely stay there again.
