Very cosy and beautifully restored period cottage with all facilities needed. Within walking distance to at least two wineries, a perfect place to relax and enjoy some lovely McLaren Vale wines.

Australia1 review“Wonderful accommodation in a heritage listed cottage!”Nothing - everything was there! Just beware if you're a tall person because these colonial cottages were built low.
It was absolutely lovely! The cottage was super clean, the bathroom was beautiful and the kitchen had absolutely everything you could need - including fresh baked bread and milk. The owners have done a fantastic job restoring the heritage listed property and it was really interesting to hear Paul discuss the history of Peppermint Farm. The location was stunning and there were Ubers available at all times so we didn't have to worry about drink driving. Overall an excellent experience and we'll be booking for a longer stay next time!

Australia1 review“would have know worries staying there again.”The wife would have liked a light over the bathroom mirror for applying makeup we took the mirror down and stood in the kitchen so she could see better. All the house lights are compact fluro which arnt very bright swapping to LED's would be better. i like it bright i know some people dont. and the wood fire was virtually useless, but he did warn us about that. The water was off due to works on Binney RD for a few hours on Saturday. Slight inconvenience.
Breakfast was good the home baked bread was awesome. The reverse cycle heater worked well, and putting heater on early enough to get house up to temperature. the location was very quite, surrounded by vines. and close to many wineries and McLaren vale main street a few minuets away.

The location is perfect to explore the beautiful surroundings and the cottage is located next to vineyards. Peaceful and quiet. Big enough for a family of 4 to stay for a week. There is a working fireplace. The continental breakfast was lovely.

Australia4 reviews“I can't wait to return.”Peppermint farm cottage is a very lovely cottage set at the end of a driveway surrounded by a vineyard. Walking into the cottage immediately makes you feel like you're on holiday. What an absolute gem of a restored building which is more than you expect and the perfect place to relax either after a busy day wine-tasting, or just to simply get out of the city for a moment to recharge.
