A very strong bleach odure in the appartment on our arrival. We opened all doors and loovers and went out for a bit. No air con in the second bedroom but a fan was provided. Wouldn't want to sleep in the second bedroom in summer. For a family appartment, not much seating in the lounge. The blinds are breaking so need to open and close with care.

The Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great. Beds were fine and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was fantastic. IGA close by and great eating spots also.

Not sure it is worth the star rating. It does not feel like a Peppers like I usually experience with the luxury usually associated with this brand. Room was very dated, loud overlooking a car park. It was all clean and OK but a little disappointing at first.

The only problem we had was the door...the key card opened it, but the actual lock took some finessing!

Both pools were beautiful but are in full sun for the majority of the day with very little shade. Also there is no snack bar/kiosk/bar at either pool so you cannot enjoy lunch or a cold drink by the pool unless you bring your own or walk back to the restaurant. Also be aware when they ask for a credit card at check in for a hold they will physically take money out of your account (AU$200) and not return it for 48hrs after checkout. I’ve been to many places that will take card details as a security precaution but to actually withdraw money seems excessive. Checkout is at 10am - this is normal for Australia - but not very ‘luxury’

Location was great - restaurant and cafes within walking distance and close to ferry terminal and bus if you are not hiring a car. Room comfortable and bathroom spacious, though a bit dated. Great shower. Staff were very friendly and attentive and Boardwalk cafe served a delicious lunch and breakfast.

The previous guests half eaten fish and chips were in the fridge still. Housekeeping must not have checked the fridge to remove the old smelly food.

The only negative thing was morning noise of the buses and rubbish trucks emptying the bins. Some of the car parking spaces were quiet tight for our four wheel drive.

The room was very spacious. It had everything that we needed for the three night stay. It was close walking distance to other restaurants. We will deffinately be staying there again.

Requires a $200 security deposit (quite steep compared to most other places that require $100) and is lacking in accessibility - only 1 elevator that does not go to all floors and lots of stairs, most definitely not wheelchair accessible.

Breakfast was tasty with good variety, the pool was very nice, and the room was beautiful and very clean.

The air conditioner made sudden loud noises at night, there is also a hole in the wall next to it which concerned me a spider might come out at night so I slept with the lamp on.

Buffet breakfast is mediocre. More GF options would be nice, and the cost of a proper coffee was a little high ($7.50ish). Location of our 1 bedroom apartment was overlooking the ferry carpark which was disappointing, particularly given the noise first thing on a Sunday morning. The rooms would benefit from block out blinds also; so much light comes in at the rise of the sun.

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located to the ferry. Warm and welcoming staff; particularly when they resolved a small issue we had during our stay which was completely out of their control and compensated beyond my expectations; much appreciated!
