Magnetic island was beautiful. Had a great experience of snorkelling with Aquascene. Highly recommended. We didn't have a car, so we depended on the buses to get from the top of the island to the south. Nothing negative about Peppers Blue on Blue. Just remembered... we were in 1232, and had a saggy lounge. Not good for my back. Very humid in March. Not a lot of dining experiences around.

The hotel was in a great location. Very clean. Had all that we wanted. Nice gardens and grounds, pools, views etc. The restaurant was good too. Close to ferry and more importantly, the buses.

Two wines we ordered in the restaurant were not available. Whilst we were having a dinner in the restaurant which worked out to be $100.00 per head , people came in to the same restaurant eating area with takeaway containers of food , sat down and ate their takeaway food. Not our idea of good practice for a restaurant of this standard. This was extremely disappointing to us .

Very comfortable bed and good size unit. Beautiful marina view. Two amazing pools. Had a coffee machine, kettle and toaster in room.

1. room was dated, and unclean. blinds were grubby, loose wires in the room, dead insects. in desperate need for a revamp to be up to standard. 2. lack of room service 3. lack of pool side drinks service 4. short staffed

Starting to need a bit of freshening up, inside and out. Not a big selection on the dinner menu and a bit pricey.

A handy location to amenities. It had all you need if you chose to have a lazy day on site. Happy, helpful and accommodating staff.

Nothing to be broken hearted about - But, the Coffee choice of Maccona is really good for instant coffee, international roast is a heartburn in a packet. Wondered of the choice of sweeteners for beverages, sugar for me is fine, though I prefer raw sugar. Probably checking of Body Wash in shower could be refilled more often.

Locality from Ferry Terminal, Ease of Checkin with staff member, Direction to Room and path to room offered a choice of ramp or stairs. Lift to room level is very convenient and there is good room to enter and exit room. Barra Dinner in restaurant was Splendid, Buffet Breakfast had a very good variety of food to choose from. My Room was well laid out and appointed with all the conveniences to be self-contained for a lengthy stay. A/C worked very well, lighting luminated the room very well, all doors worked very well. TV also worked easily, which is a huge relief for an old fashioned person, chairs were well paired to table and Lounge and chairs was very comfortable. Room Attendant was a Very Pleasant person and very efficient in her time in my room. The convenience to a IGA Shopping Centre is very much appreciated.

The room was all we needed for a 3 day break from Townsville. We enjoyed the big swimming pool to cool off each afternoon. Breakfasts were tasty. Proximity to the ferry and the bus service was great.

Aircondtioning needed cleaning and blinds were dirty need replacing.Room was not ready for 2pm check in it was 2 .30 and we had to call reception to get new swipes to get into room.The rooms need updating fridge all marked and no air conditioning in second bedroom chairs on deck coming apart and really old televisions not worth the money.

The breakfast food was OK, but the management of it was poor. On both days had to wait for long periods for the buffet to be replenished (empty trays of eggs, etc, juice etc, even plates) which was annoying - they should be monitoring the food and noticing that when a group of 10 comes in the door they are likely to empty out the offerings for those behind... The furniture in the rooms was fine, but also a little tired and not really at the standard expected for the price point.

The pool was great, although the furniture around the pool was a little tired, and there are some obvious areas where the grass cant grow that were just mud. The lady on reception on Sunday morning was great - very professional and helpful - she deserves accolades for her pleasantness and efficiency.

Garden at front balcony is in desperate need of attention. The whole garden needed upgrading. There was no sink plug to wash up. Reception was made aware of this but nothing happened. Bed base had holes in it and a power point connection needed fixing but overall the room was spacious and had everything you could need for a short stay including a washing machine.

Size of the room was smaller than what we were expecting. Some noise on roof or next to the building around 1:30am! And there was no microwave oven in the room.

it’s quite cheap to charge for housekeeping when you go to a hotel. it’s inconvenient to have the best pool so far from the entrance where the only toilets are located and also not to offer pool service.

Got an upgrade from a studio to a 3br apartment for $60 total for 3 nights #worthit Pool was fab. Lovely and warm lagoon pool. Dinner at the restaurant also great as well as our morning lattes.
