Check in took a very long time.

The room was very comfortable and the views were lovely. The layout of the bathroom was surprisingly roomy given it was a small ensuite.

Very surprised by bar hours as it would of been nice to relax after lunch in and around the garden areas etc with a drink to celebrate a long awaited rest but not open until very late afternoon and no service at all on Sunday. Our 3 night stay was a touch under $1200 and the room although clean only had a view of a roof and it was very average for the price and wouldn't say it was as descibed in being"superior". No restaurant opening hours on Sunday meant find something open if you can. Little to offer in way of amenties apart from the relativity expensive spa treatments.

Staff were excellent,grounds in general were excellent,breakfasts were good,housekeeping was also very prompt and good.

Classic Decor that is sympathetic to the age of the building. A Stuart Rattle timeless interior. Position is great, quiet and breakfast - well we we were spoilt for choice

Hotel renovated so heritage features remain but bright and inviting. Lovely staff, lots of public areas to relax, quirky gardens, great food for dinner and brekky, and the “Gatsby” room with huge brass bathtub is amazing. Thanks for the complementary bottle of bubbly for our anniversary

Our room smelt a bit musty - we assume because of the tub in there with carpet. But that's only a minor complaint!

Peppers is undoubtedly a beautiful hotel but it's the staff that truly made it shine for us. On arrival we were greeted by Cheyne who quickly became our best friend and looked after our every need. I've rarely felt so welcome and comfortable staying at a hotel for the first time. Big ups to Cheyne! The facilities were also great and we really enjoyed our drinks and dinner. We'll be back!

Bath tub in room is very deep and Is quite hard for a a 5’2” person to get out of. A step is recommended. An elevator would be good

First time having dinner here. One dish was absolutely amazing, the other two were mediocre.

Third time visiting Peppers and as usual, it didn’t disappoint. I’ve stayed in the villas previously, this time was the first time in one of the heritage rooms and it was adorable. I really appreciated the balcony

The toilet did not work well. Only had enough water for one flush and then had to wait for an hour for it to fill to be able to flush again. So we had to use the toilets downstairs in the lounge area. For the price paid for each night, the mineral bath salts could have been replaced once we used them the first night. Being a mineral spa hotel we wanted to use the spa bath!

Loved the decor and bed very comfortable. Great that breakfast was included. Fabulous balcony and enjoyd the in room spa bath.
