Very very basic kitchen which had a broken oven and hob while I stayed. Enough toilets but only the one shower in my block and the wifi didn’t reach either. The reception staff were all talking about really disliking people from a certain place where I happen to be from (fine to have an opinion but talking very loudly about very much disliking them based on stereotype)

Pool closed Kitchens outdated, things don’t work, saw a cockroach in the main kitchen Rooms are very basic. No mirror or a coathanger. Had a weird vibe about the place to be honest. Didn’t feel very welcoming.

The cooking range was very old and rusty. We could not cook decent meal as all the 4 cooking hobs were rusty and it would not heat the pan. Waited for 10 minutes to heat the pan but no luck. Had to cook dinner in microwave. The Oven was also temperamental. It burned our food had to increase and decrease the temperature and the oven knob was pretty hot. For the price paid, please change the cooking range so that the cook range can be decently used. If a family with kids wishes to cook, there is no way they can cook on old cooking range. The door latches in lounge room, bedroom and main door were broken and wonder why can't they be repaired when paid so much money.

No air conditioning and the ceiling/fans provided were very loud and didn’t really cool the place down. Probably my mistake as I believe it does mention on description, but to note the apartment became very very hot during the hot weather. No wifi reaches the apartment, as the apartments are located further down the street to the actual hostel, this wasn’t an issue for us however.

Good value for money, was overall clean and beds were comfy. Had all kitchen facilities needed. Good location as only a short walk into where the shops are. Overall good stay!

Shared bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, but was fine for the one night.

We stayed in a private double room with shared bathroom. Good location, close to Shell for our Fraser Island tour the next morning. The room and bed were really comfortable, and we had a balcony which was nice.

Private double room with great air con - comfortable bed. Great to be able to store luggage and personal items when away on Fraser Island (if booked with Pippies)

The power cut in one of the buildings (obviously that isn’t their fault) but was definitely an issue and the staff member at reception was quite rude when I asked when the issue would be resolved, however when I rang the hotel number a different lady answered and she was apologetic for the power cut and gave us more info about when we may get power back.

Unfortunately the room was extremely hot making it very unpleasant. The food that we put in the fridge felt hot to touch as we believe the fridge was struggling as it was so hot in the room. We actually thought the fridge had stopped working. I think Air cons would be very beneficial for these rooms. We were looking at coming and staying again in March but at this this stage it’s just too hot unfortunately to be able to stay. The fan downstairs was unfortunately playing up and would randomly turn off.

The location was great. Close to the shops and could walk to beach. Also the fact that we could do our own thing.

It was a bit outdated and small, especially the 2nd room. It was too small for 3 beds. Just 1 bunk bed would have been better.

Quiet hours after 21:30 doesn't simply exist - parties last and last. Air-conditioning from nearby rooms is very noisy. We got a room over one of the kitchens - the smell is strong when someone cooks. Bathroom is a bit rusty, but clean.

Very good location. Fantastic pool. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, vending machines available. Afterhours check-in and check-out.

Mouse droppings on the top shelf of the wardrobe in the room with the bunk beds but we didn't need to use the wardrobes. Bath ring around the shower base however that didn't bother me either Kitchen table top was sticky but maybe residue from cleaning/polish product? Stove hot plates rusting but didn't use/need it Was there meant to be a laundry basket for the dirty linen/towels? Didn't find one sorry.

The location is perfect 2 extra beds compared to the last place we stayed. More room A standard size fridge. (Not a bar fridge) Fans supplied for the room with the bunk beds Mostly clean, tidy, inviting

The property is quite outdated compared to the price you pay for the apartment. The shower wasn’t working properly and it was not very clean.

Bedroom could have had towel hooks on the wall as there was nowhere to hang my towel.

Bed was comfortable. Kitchen/living room area was cosy and homely. Good for encouraging social interaction.
