We were upgraded into a better room with seperate bathroom and the owners dog Sophie was so kind to show us the way down to the river when we went to see if we could spot some platypuses. Gina the owner told us about a good walk along the river which took us to the main road and down to a great coffee cafe. The walk in total was approx. 5.5 kilometres which was easy for us as we had been doing walks like this all over Tasmania

Everything was perfect, the rooms are really big, the apartment has everything you need and the hosts are very kind and friendly. Even the dog went for a walk with me. ;-) It is very quiet there and perfect for relaxing.

There was nothing that we actually didn't like, but a few things were disappointing. When we booked the Two-Bedroom suite the Booking Confirmation (which I have before me) clearly says there is a kitchenette which we presumed was a small area to cook, but there was none. There was a bottle of coffee but only two tea bags. Also perhaps it would be a good idea to explain there is no door on the upstairs bedroom for noise/privacy.

Spacious clean unit - beds and bedding were excellent, and the idea of the cover on top of the doona was great - so clean and hygienic.

The water pressure was very low but understandable due to lack of rain. It's time for the owners to invest in new towels as the current ones are old and scratchy. Otherwise, very relaxing and enjoyable.

Only downside was the hot tap in the kitchen was not functioning well.

Very queit rooms and no problems sleeping or with any of the facilities. Would happily stay there again.

Nothing I disliked - it was excellent. some things that would improve it - wifi - I didn't see any wifi there, so be prepared to use own data. Option to order a breakfast tray or food would have been welcome - then again, the fabulous food truck park was only 10 or so minutes away and the coffee was great!

Highlight was definitely the ramble across the paddock and into the forest to try and see platypus in the river at sundown. I didn't see any but what a lovely stroll! Bridport is about 10 minutes drive away - food trucks , glorious beaches, friendly IGAs. Brilliant. Loved the little cottage we stayed in - gorgeous outlook on the dams and paddock, clean, comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend.

There's nothing to dislike..

Lovely place. We really liked the stay and the environment. Free breakfast hamper was lovely. Loved the attick/upper floor bed. Ideal spot for star gazing. We were able to pick some plums from the garden, and that was a bonus.

Nothing comes to mind. We were well pleased, though some may feel they are separated from the beach vibe.

We were a couple, but due to availability we booked a 2 bedroom accomodation that internally resembled a small semi-detached holiday home. Beautifully fitted out and in keeping with the location and surroundings. And as always, space has a quality all of its own.

Wonderful country location with beautiful views from the property. Cows grazing in the paddocks next to the garden, which was absolutely lovely to behold. Very comfortable beds.
