whilst we understand the reasoning behind it, we would have loved to have been given a few more toiletries and replacement of towels after a couple of days.

Very close to beach and city centre. Staff were lovely, very eager to please and incredibly helpful. Have never experienced hosts this engaging. There was an excellent selection of brochures, activities and recommendations of things to do around Port. it was evident that Amanda and Peter knew all about local activities and were keen to help us get the best deal. kids loved the pool and the book exchange is a great idea. Loved having our own dryer and washer, plus air dryer. Everything was clean and fresh huge supply of plates and other crockery and kitchen items. We liked the idea of the communal fridge and table. it was very handy when we forgot to buy tomato sauce!

Very clean. Spacious apt, all we needed was there. And Amanda and Peter were great hosts! Helping us with booking tours. Both to the reefs and Daintre. Making our stay just fantastic! We so hope to come back!

Amanda and Peter were extremely helpful in suggestions and booking tours for us. They were accommodating to our needs. Great to have the pantry available when you forget small things from the shops and to save purchasing items for one off uses.

Nothing really, the only criticism would be that the bedrooms could have better blockout blinds or curtains as the bedrooms were a bit bright for me .

The owners Amander And Peter were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help you. The location was also fantastic, being an easy walk to town the marina and 4mile beach.

The location is ideal, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Air conditioning in every room, extra pillows, and a well equipped kitchen made for a comfortable stay. The share fridge and table where departing guests can leave items is an excellent idea. Our hosts, Amanda and Peter, could not have been more helpful - can’t thank them enough.

Location a short walk from McCrossan St. Amanda and Peter who run the place are super helpful, warm and welcoming. They helped out with transfer bookings as well as our trip to Hartley’s Crocodile farm. The 2 bed apartment was very clean and comfortable. Whilst a little dated it is excellent value compared to some of the other places we have stayed at in PD previously. The swimming pool was perfect. Heated to c. 28 degrees… perfect for the family to swim and relax in. My daughter spent 2 hours in there every day.

The property was ideally placed for access to eateries, supermarket, marina and beach. The room was quiet and spacious and the balcony was a perfect spot to chill out after a long busy day. The hosts Peter and Amanda couldn’t do enough for us - they were friendly and helpful with tips to make our trip just perfect.

It would have been good to have a bigger supply of the essentials such as toilet paper, soap, dishwasher detergent, washing machine detergent

Peter and Amanda are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The apartments are very well located close to the centre of Port Douglas with a flat 10 minute walk to the wharf, beach or shops. The apartment was very clean with a full compliment of kitchen and dining utensils for making breakfasts and lunches. There was also a communal fridge and table in the entrance where leftover food was left ... a great idea to reduce waste of perfectly good food!

Lights could better in bathroom or bedroom for putting makeup on.

Nice apartment. Very spacious. Two balconies. Very clean. Ensuite bathroom had a shower over the bath which I found hard to negotiate. Bathroom is dated. Kitchen needs new drawer handles. They're rather unpleasant to hold. Dining table needs new surface on the marble. Overall good though. Big smart TV in lounge. In a good position for walking to shops, restaurants and quay. Peter was very attentive.
