I missed a few details to make life easier for the backpacker. I'll leave you with some suggestions that I've experienced in other hostels There could have been more sockets in the room or at least each bunk bed had its own There could be a curtain at the bottom of the bunk bed to give the room more privacy There could have been a lamp in the room so you didn't have to switch on the light. And more locker (at least one for each bed). In the kitchen, the fridge wasn't enough to store everyone's things, so it would be ideal to have another one. The tap in the kitchen could have a timer, instead of having to hold it down to use it.

The reception was very good! The bathroom and showers were clean.

The frosted glass walls in the shower made showering quite awkward and uncomfortable as it didn’t provide much privacy

Kitchen was always tidy and clean. Beds were very comfortable and friendly staff :) pancakes in the morning was also a great bonus.

The lighting in the female dorm was bright white light, could be improved by changing to a warmer light or giving each bunk a bedside light.

I loved the chilled vibes here so much I ended up extending my stay for a few days. PMB is a great place to take it easy and meet like-minded people. Ash and Callum are some of the friendliest hostel hosts I've come across in Aus to date - genuinely lovely and keen to help guests make the most of their stay here. Thank you for being so welcoming!

I booked a bed in a 8-bed dormitory, with fan. The dormitory is large enough, so you do not feel packed at all. The bed is a bunk bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. For this dorm (and the entire hostel), as a male, you have access to 3 showers, 3 toilets, 2 sinks. All were clean. You also have access to a fully equipped kitchen. The common space is nice. Free pool table, swimming pool, tv room. The WiFi is good. 700m away from Greyhound / Premier Motor Service bus stop. 850m away from Coles supermarket. 2.3km away from main beach. With regards to the staff, I was welcomed by Callum, who is super nice and very friendly. The owner, Ben, is chilled and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

The tap for the sink is weird, we need to hold all the time to run the water. It’s becoming hard to wash my dishes.

It was very loud, people living there watched TV so loud into the early hours of the morning.

It was rainy october days and room was a little bit moist and cold. My old bones hope some kind of heating for this kind of weather. (OK, I didn’t ask, maybe it would be available somehow)

Real backpackers hostel with good spirit by staff and quests. Everybody help and care everyone, me too, even I was much older than the others. I slept very well. I booked own room and got it. It was made for 6 (3 bunk bed) so don’t wait studio style room or bed. Shared toilet and shower room ok.

We arrived late but it was a really easy process to access the property / room. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities: kitchen/diner, living room with tv, pool room, nice swimming pool out back and drive for cars. Nice location, less than a 10 minute walk to the main Street and even less to the bus stop if travelling by greyhound. I love how important recycling and not being wasteful is at PMB!

the price of the laundry and dryer the fan in the room is right under the light and fast flickering when the fan is on not good made people dizzy, not good for me i have epilepsy

showers had hot water, kitchen was always clean tap turned off on their own good to save water. earplugs available at the office really good idea!!!!!
