Could have done with more towels and cloths as we stayed for a week. If not more towels, then more washing powder so we could have washed them more regularly. The fan in the bedroom did not seem to be working to speed, so we had to crank the AC all day to get the room cool enough to sleep in.

The heated pool and spa was beautiful. We had great privacy off of the balcony of our apartment and all windows and doors had bug screens. Working wifi. Staff were super friendly. The apartment was well equipped with lots of things to make our stay easier. The location was excellent, as it is very close to the Broadbeach South public transport station.

Location was perfect. Large mall, tram and beach at your fingertips. Also a surf club with delicious food and fair priced drinks as well as cafe close with comfortable prices. Bus 777 in a 5 min walk which takes you right to Good Coast airport

It was budget accommodation so very basic. Given no warning that there were multiple stairways and no lift. No good for people with disabilities.

Using two hands to open doors with a key, it's a little fiddely for old hands.

We liked the ground floor, even with a few steps. Close to the rear gate for easy pick-ups.

Ants will go into the apartment. There are two floors in the apartment, but only the living room has air conditioning. It will be a bit stuffy when sleeping at night. It's a pity that there is no lift. Although we already knew that there was no elevator when we made the reservation, we didn't expect that it was on the fourth floor. The key to entering and exiting the community gate is actually not very good, and it takes some practice to open it.

The staff were very friendly and tried to assist with luggage even though there was no elevator. Very close to the tram station and shopping mall. Excellent location. nice laundry and shower.

Marty and Dorelle are excellent hosts at Portobello, always friendly and helpful. The pool is kept clean and the little bit of shade over the pool is welcome. The beach is just a short walk away and Pacific Fair is a short walk.

No air con in the bedroom which made it very hot. Our second bedroom was on the upper floor which was too hot even with the fan. Would have been nice to open the windows but there was no mosquito net. Would be really nice on the upper floor but also in the kids bedroom. The kids bedroom had a mosquito net however there was a big hole which made no sense using it. Could have been a bit cleaner, the fans were dirty and the wardrobe and stairs.

Really nice location, calm area but close to the beach and a huge shopping area. Since I’m not a fan of the surfers paradise area this was the best location for relaxation. Best is the pool area! Pool was really nice. Great parking. Nice outdoor at the resort. Nice with laundry. Two bathrooms Nice balcony, we had two.

I would have appreciated aircon/a ceiling fan in the bedroom but we did find a pedestal fan in the cupboard that passed muster.

Great value for a money, and super close to the beach. The managers were lovely and very hospitable. The space itself was very nice - I would’ve stayed longer if I could’ve!

Lovely clean room, so close to a really clean pool and spa and yet 4 minute walk to beach. Very central location with everything you need within walking distance. Polite staff that couldn’t do enough to help or show you where to go or what was on to do.
