If i have to be very picky, its that the Netflix on our master bedroom TV didn't work. There is also not much to do at Wallerawang, its a pretty quiet town. If you are very sensitive to noises and like to sleep in, the post office in front is actually in use and there can be some noise. Also there is a train line opposite the property, but honestly noise is minimal. Also the Chinese restaurant was not good at all, food was pretty disappointing. And if you are planning on a trip to the Blue Mountains, the property is still a 45min drive.

The house is secure for pets and children and private. The home layout, facilities, cleanliness and furnishing made the stay really comfortable. Ultra convenient location with foodworks and restaurants next door, and a 45min drive to Scenic World.

I didn't get the code for the key lock box on the day, I needed to ring to get the code and I had everyone waiting in the heat, but it didn't take long to sort that out We had trouble with the TV in the second bedroom but were able to sort that out on the 2nd day with a few phone calls. We could've survived without the TV normally but it was wonderful to have as one of our group had a very bad back and needed to rest. We would've liked hand rails for the back steps and in the bathroom, that's because we're all getting on in years and balance is not as good, unfortunately.

I liked the fact that there two bathrooms and all of the facilities - it was very comfortable for 3 couples. We all fell in love with the house. It's been lovingly restored and decorated.

Beautifully renovated cottage, thoughtfully decorated, and extremely well set up for a comfortable stay. Arriving to a fire on, with a lovely surprise of some fruit and a cake to greet us - seriously above and beyond! An excellent base for exploring the area. Loved the privacy tucked in behind the post office. One tip for other guests - be careful where you leave the cake, we found the glass cake cover was unfortunately no match for some ants :(

there were some ants crawling around the honey jar in the kitchen. there is no contingency with check-out time as the cleaning staff came at 10:10am when we were about to put our bags in the car and said the next guests are coming in soon. (check-in time is 3pm which is 5 hours later and is a late check-in compare to other places)

Checking in was easy, the house was set up beautifully with the heating on. Gifts of wine, sweets, freshly baked muffins were a lovely touch. Lots of towels, additional bedding (electric blankets also) and the kitchen was fully stocked with equipment. Carpet in bedrooms, blackout blinds, it was very quiet and comfortable. Living room had generous seating, games, beautifully detailed, big gas fire and tv. No detail had been overlooked

This is a stunning cottage! Walking in, my girlfriends and I were blown away by the beauty of this cottage! It had everything we could ask for and was stocked with food basics and treats on arrival. Central heating was a blessing in the winter weather, the ambience perfect, the comfort level unmatched. We felt safe behind the closed gates, there was a cute garden area, a full bathroom/ laundry area with heated flooring and a second wet bathroom inside. We ordered from the local Chinese restaurant that had amazing food. The location was perfect for us as we had day trips planned and was central to Lithgow and Katoomba. Thank you for a perfect girls weekend getaway, it is one we will talk about for many years to come. 😊

The best place we have ever stayed in! This place looks like chambres d'hotes in France: family stay with very stylish antique decorations. Beautiful attention to details, many original paintings 🖼, some antique furniture. The check in instructions are very clear. The kitchen is full of food and drinks available for you. The bedding is very comfortable. And the most important thing in Blue Mountains in winter: central heating! We stayed in many places in Blue Mountains in winter and none has a central heating. Outside bathroom has even heated floor. We will be definitely back because it is great value for money.

Thoughtfully renovated, cozy and beautifully furnished and decorated, Very well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful. Great position away from the busyness of the main Blue Mountains area but still close enough to everything.
