Having to walk out to the bathroom during the night. The small size of the toilet cubicle.

I didn’t like that there is really only one place to eat dinner, I found this to be quite expensive for a single mum with two boys. We did eat there once and it was lovely. But there needs to be food and variety to cater for different budgets. Life/ expenses are tight these days. A family pizza and drinks would be great, I would come back if the meals were to suite everyone’s budget thank god for Uber eats. Also, having a cashless places is crazy, when you have to get change for the laundry facilities.

I enjoyed the history and uniqueness of the place. Easy to get around.

The rooms was very small and basic. I would recommend better coffee sachets and some complimentary biscuits would be good. Breakfast was average. This is a very difficult question as the quality of the rooms and facilities were quite disappointing BUT then the view was breathtaking.

The location, location, location! The shuttle bus made it easy to get around the site. The history of the site. Such a beautiful place!

We appreciate that it’s difficult to strike a balance between the old and the new. For example, we’re the rooms originally fitted with fly wire doors? If so, they should be replicated. If not, they should be added( in keeping with the simple timber design of course, as this would greatly improve the comfort of guests by keeping mozzies, and turkeys etc and lessening the need for noisy fans. This would be expensive but a cost analysis should be undertaken. We were required to move rooms during our stay, due to an ongoing issue with a smoke alarm. The room we were relocated to had a massive drought coming in through a loose fitting door. Our impression ( one of us is an experienced maintenance carpenter) was that the general fabric requires more attention eg blocked and sagging gutters can only lead to deterioration of timber verandahs

Helpful staff overcoming some difficulties we experienced Beautiful setting and interesting historic precinct Magnificent views to the harbour Shuttle service to Manly greatly appreciated

Reliance on a shuttle bus around the Q Station as no cars allowed. Not a major inconvenience and it certainly adds to the quaintness and protects the wildlife - you just requires you to plan your movements somewhat.

No parking at room. Had to transport luggage on bus to lodgings. Too far to walk from car with any baggage.

The rooms get very hot in summer but doesn't take away from the overall stay at all. In peak periods the buses too and from can take awhile.

Location is beautiful, my absolute favorite place to stay in Sydney. I always seem to return for birthdays, special occasions and anniversary's. Staff are gorgeous are the restaurants are to die for!

Given that it didn't seem overly busy and there were empty rooms, it would have been nice to be provided with a room that faced the ocean.

Great location, very peaceful and a relaxing environment. Plenty of light activities, from the restaurant, cafe and beach. The shuttle transport to Manly and back was perfect. You could easily just plan your Manly stay at the Q and be very happy with it.

Found rooms stuffy - hard to leave doors open due to roaming wildlife. Disappointing to not be able to eat somewhere on site on one night.

Wonderful location and interesting historical background ground.
