It was nice to have the breakfast options available to choose from. The fire and heated blankets are perfect for winter. King-size beds very comfy, love the crispy white cotton sheets and pillows. The air conditioner is perfect for a summer stay. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. Love the soaps from Washpool, a local soap manufacturer. Ballandeen and all its tourist options a short way down the road and Stanthorpe town is very close too. Easy access to Girraween National Park. Everything was neat and tidy. Very pleasant and quiet at night.

The accomodation, the grounds, the location to the included breakfast ingrediants everything was exceptional. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate and clean and the wood fire was extremely efficient. All the ammenties of the cabin was fantastic.

The facility was spotlessly clean with everything you need to feel at home. Loved the location and the dam. The log fire and the breakfast supply for our stay. As it was our wedding Anniversary Deb and Peter gave us a lovely bottle of wine which was a lovely gesture. So much so we went and bought a few more to take home with us.

The bed was only a standard double (and was advertised as a large double) and felt small. It would have been great to sleep on a Queen at a minimum

The accommodation felt new and was well looked after. It had a lovely fireplace that the was setup when we arrived. That was a nice touch. The accommodation was set on a large plot that over looks a lake (they even had fire pits which we could have used) but we were too busy hiking and exploring the wineries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was exactly what we needed. The location was quiet, and the cabin was cosy. The furniture was ideal and the bed was super comfy. On our arrival, the host Deb invited us to sit by the lake in the afternoon and light a fire so we would be warm while enjoying the sunset.

No dislikes, just a suggestion for an outdoor table and chairs for the verandah. Thats why I rated 9/10. On the last night we moved the dining table out onto the verandah...such beautiful views whislt eating dinner.

Firstly, the bed was huge and excellent...SO comfortable!!! We had a great view, it was very quiet and plenty of places to throw a line in the dam. Our cabin was well set out, beautiful and exceptionally clean. We loved the fact that our chosen breakfast ingredients were already in the cabin as well as everything we required during four night stay. Deb was lovely, obliging and on for a good ol' yarn. She has a great deal of knowledge of Stanthorpe and surrounding areas. We highly recommend this very relaxing get away.

The beautiful luxury cabins are overlooking a big dam. The cabins are so beautiful it feels like you’re at a home away from home. The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are all huge. The owners have done such a great job. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

The kitchen was well appointed generally but there was no oven. Many cooking alternatives were available though.

Breakfast provisions were generous and the pantry well stocked with essentials. The location was gorgeous next to the dam, the cabins stylish and spaced far enough apart for privacy. Just beautiful!

It’s all wonderful!

We have stayed at Quaffers before and will continue to visit every year. It’s a perfect place to get away and completely unwind. It’s peaceful and relaxing. A wonderful breaky is provided that you cook in your cabin. The fire place warms the cabin beautifully.

We arrived late and the hosts had very thoughtfully made and lit the fire for us making sure we had a great welcome waiting which was very much appreciated on a cold wet night having travelled over 4 hours to get there. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us great info on the local area, ensuring we made a lunch booking for Saturday per their advice and got the last table available! the cabin was cosy and had everything you could have hoped for including a coffee machine, cooking basics, good range of cookware, glasses etc and good products in the bathroom. Breakfast was more than enough for us and good quality products - nice fresh bread.
