    No aircon remote, bed in room 1 broken. Took four days to get Houst to allow me into another room, never got back to me about aircon remote. Once weather cooled down it was a more comfortable stay

    extremely disappointed for the money I paid to little more than a pig sty! I paid just under $3000!

    there was no hygiene provided after a few days I noted bins were not emptied , no replacement toilet paper, vacuumed cleaner had not been empties, no supply of antibacterial cleanser! I supplied toilet paper , antibacterial surface spray toilet deodorant and antibacterial hand washAll at my expense! I was not offered fresh sheets during my stay and what I found totally unacceptable ; kitchen tea towels were never replaced! during the majority of my stay there were five people sharing the upstairs area of the house and sharing a single kitchen , bathroom & toilet! I spoke to the owner voicing my concerns after a week to be told that the cleaning was only done when guests left I explained my personal concerns were based on the fact that I have low immunity being a transplant recipient but I feel it fell on death ears even though the house owner claimed to be a doctor! I had written on a number of occasions voicing my concerns to the owner’s support team “Houst” and gave me no satisfaction at all apart from agreeing to re pay me for toilet paper I had purchased if I supplied receipts! I have been using a number of accommodation types through booking. com over the past three years and this is the worst place I have experienced in all that time!

    Most unpleasant - very little care has gone into this accommodation - paid $140 per night.

    This shared 3-bedroom accommodation was very poor. On arrival, the stairs up to the accommodation had no hand rail. The walls and skirtings were very marked and dusty, which continued throughout the accommodation. The toilet and shower were unclean, previous tenants' items left here. The top of the fridge, the fridge itself were unclean, a dummy left under a dusty couch. There was a smell of dust. The bedroom was a small; enough for a double bed and cheap furniture. We sat on the slat bed and it collapsed on one side - very few supports to hold the slats in place. We had a very uncomfortable night and stayed just 1 night, paid for 10. Still negotiating for reimbursement.
