The bathroom - shower head was very weak instead in one direction, the water was going everywhere.

There were a few marks on the walls, and the bed wasn't overly comfortable

The staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was clean and tidy, and had everything I would expect for a standard hotel room. The parking was very handy, especially in a busy area

The fact that the restaurant’s porcelain storage was next to our room was really no success, when they started to pull loads out of the storage early in the morning ( and chattering loudly… ). So much for a quiet room…

Bathroom lighting was poor. Needed to use the torch on my phone in order to have a shave. Wi-Fi was not very good. Needed to hot spot to my phone in order to be able to send emails.

Location was convenient as I was attending a conference/exhibition at the EPIC. Attached restaurant and bistro is handy for meals.

Beds were a little hard. Water in shower difficult to keep at temperature, can hear a bit of door slamming and noise from hall.

So very spacious, toaster, microwave in room, very clean, good supply of cups plates etc. undercover car parking, nice club to eat meals

Had chosen and paid for the ‘including breakfast’ option, expecting it to be a full (and normal) buffet style meal. Instead we were given a voucher for a simple ‘2 x eggs on toast [any style], a slice of raisin or cafe style toast, and a up of coffee’. Nice food regardless, but very disappointing value wise when considering the difference between the normal room rate and what we paid for the room and breakfast.

The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the absence of stairs, which could be a concern for guests with mobility issues. However, the rest of the hotel's amenities and services more than made up for this.

I recently stayed at Hotel Dickson Canberra and had a fantastic experience. The spacious room and excellent facilities made my trip truly comfortable. The room service was prompt, and the food was delightful, offering a variety of tasty options. One thing that stood out to me was the helpful and friendly attitude of the hotel's employees. They went above and beyond to assist me, especially when I needed help with printing. Their willingness to assist guests added immensely to my overall positive experience. In summary, my stay at Hotel Dickson Canberra was a great one. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and convenient place to stay in the area.

The darkness of the room - difficult to read by bedside lights as they shone directly down not angled towards bed to enable reading in bed.

Size of room was excellent. Shower was brilliant, water hot and plenty of it. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows to make comfortable.

The room was clean and spacious, however no mini-bar only tea/coffee. I guess they expect you to use the Tradies club, however the wine bar was not open only the main bar. Parking and access to lifts good.

Other than a couple of loud neighbours which the hotel can't help, nothing was wrong, great place to stay.

Excellent all round, fantastic location with many wonderful restaurants surrounding the hotel. Room was big and comfortable and servicing daily. Staff were really friendly.

My room was not very soundproof, and as it was an interconnected room I could hear the neighbours talking.

The room was large, clean with plenty of space and amenities. Location was near restaurants, supermarkets and the light rail interchange and bus stops.
