We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe only issue that made our 2-night stay less than great was the ashtrays outside the rooms. To get to our room (240) we had to walk past dirty ashtrays, which really took away from the luxury hotel experience we were paying for. We have never experienced this at any other quality hotel that we've visited so it was quite a surprise and it felt a bit like we were staying in an old Motor Inn from the 1980s. The other issue with these ashtrays was the fact that we were woken around 6am both mornings by people congregating around the ashtrays, smoking and talking very loudly without any concern for other guests. We were disappointed to be woken like this on the first morning but quite annoyed when it happened again the next morning. We both had earplugs in and pillows on our heads and we could still clearly hear the conversations. Can we suggest that there be only one designated smoking area which is well-away from other guests who do not wish to smell cigarette smoke, have to look at and smell full ashtrays and who would like to wake when they choose? We would love to stay at your hotel again but we won't be doing so until something is done about the smoking rules on site. Again, we do not experience this at any other hotel we stay at. I am a cancer survivor and I actively choose to not be near smokers so it was disappointing to experience this while we were visiting Tamworth.
The hotel is beautiful, from the reception area, bar and restaurant to the gorgeous rooms. The modern take on Art Deco decor was much nicer than we were expecting. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our dinner at the restaurant was fantastic.

AustraliaCar spaces were limited and tight. Unallocated parking made it difficult to get a park at night - we assume due to the guests at the great restaurant. Curtains were just a bit too short to exclude the security light from the courtyard so our room was not dark at night. Otherwise, great, clean facility. We would have liked more plain black tea bags and 2 x packets of biscuits! (only 1 packet with 2 biscuits supplied - prob just an error, but they were delicious!)
Room was well appointed and clean. Great coffee machine with choice of pods and nice selection of teas.

The bed was very comfortable - pillows could be upgraded. The lighting over the vanity in my room was excellent for applying makeup -unlike most hotels rooms which are dark. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating.

AustraliaThe shower leaked badly. Having stayed here before I know that it happens in all rooms. Bad design and probably not fixable. It goes against the grain to mop up the floor with nice bath towels but if you wanted to do that there were a couple of extra towels supplied.
The beautiful decor was impressive but the best part was the great lighting and the large vanity in the bathroom. Perfect for quick make up and grooming. Also plenty of storage space.

AustraliaWere a little disappointed by the Evening meals which were quite expensive and big . We didn't really require an "over the top" dining experience for a work trip and went in search for a Cheaper Pub Meal on the second night - a bit disappointing as we picked Rydges because it had a Restaurant so we would not have to travel to find meals.
We had a two Bedroom Family Suite was roomy with good kitchenette facilities inc a Dishwasher. Small little courtyard area at the back which could be made more appealing. The rooms were well appointed, and quiet being on a busy Road. Very comfortable beds and room had a bath as well as shower. Parking wasn't a problem at all with a "Big Country 4 wheel drive. Breakfast at the restaurant was very nice with a good selection of Buffet as well as meals you could order. Great selection of Teas and staff were very accommodating with being able to supply Lactose free with to have with cereal.
