Didn’t like so much that you share the outdoor area with everyone, it makes it feel like you’re in a motel not a hotel.

Some people truly understand customer service and some just dont quite have it. The spirit of this place is of the latter. The bloke answering the phone doesnt speak like someone from the service industy. The blind in our bathroom was destroyed and looked awful. the hot tap in the spa fell off. The shared back veranda had a very broken chair outside the place next to us. The flywire was filthy. The aircon had spackfill next to it but no paint job. The window opposite us (our sightline from the back veranda) was filthy. When we first walked in we flopped onto the bed and nearl choked on the dust we blew into the air. Now heres the humdinger... There had clearly be a wedding or celebration the day before at the lakeside rotunda. The confetti in the grass was no issue but if you go in the rotunda and look up, there was a mummified bird right in the middle. Did someone get married under that? This place has the potential to really knock the socks off its guests for all the right reasons. I feel the attention to detail is all that is missing. And it all started with the way the blokey guy on the phone came across. He sounded like the place looked. Like something about customer service is not quite understood. That being said, i have recommended the place to friends, family and work collegues. I told them about the rotunda. I will stay here again should the opportunity present.

The place as a whole is lovely. We felt we had a quiet, private corner of the earth. The suite was a lovely size. Proximity to shops and things to do was great. For somewhat of a staycaytion, we felt away from it all. Lovely.

The gym facility might need a clean and an update, but overall I was able to complete my workout. Would like for the gym to have 24/7 access.

The room was fantastic, very spacious! The staff were also super helpful and lovely!

No mattress protector on the bed, the couch in lounge was very hard to sit on and only one other chair - some areas not that clean - windows/blinds

The outside light coming through the frosted glass slots in the main front door the whole room was very light and I found my black mask and put it over my eyes to sleep. More towel rails in bathroom. Right next to a adjoining property who were riding motor bikes till 9 p.m well over the noise limit for a public holiday.

Room not clean enough, lots of stains in carpet. No cold water in bathroom sink, only hot water from mixer tap. Skeptical when told. Rooms not serviced even though paying full price. Dust from neighbours thickly coated car, and outdoor furniture so could not sit outside for the dust. ALSO $300 bond that isn't returned immediately. In this day and age, are you kidding me! Would never stay again.

Check in was a disaster and I ended up being charged 3 times and it took too long to get a refund. The outside light can't be turned off and it shines through the glass door so take an eye mask.

I was disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast. In other hotels, coffee was offered in the lounge area near reception. The hotel seems to be more geared towards events. There were two occurring in the weekend in which I stayed.

Breakfast wasn’t available. We had to give a days notice to the staff if we wanted room service. The restaurant was t open.
