How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The air conditoner make some strange noise.
The room was a little smaller than I thought, but that didn't matter to me. The location was only a brief walk to Accor Stadium. The bed was very comfortable.

Air conditioner was gurgling all night like a gurgling septic tank. Needed the a/c on but noise was annoying!

There was nothing I didn't like, everything was up to my partners and my standard. It was a very nice hotel and the staff were extremely welcoming to my partner and I.
I enjoyed how friendly the staff was to me and my partner. The room that my partner and I were staying in was cozy and a nice, clean room. If I were to stay in Sydney Olympic Park, I would definitely book at the Quest again!!

My bin once I got there the smell was absolutely disgusting and the smell lingered on in the rooms and didn't go away after spraying the bin several times

It was disappointing to find out two days before the stay that I was not eligible for parking as ‘I had not requested it’ and their carpark was now full. No where on the Booking.com site did it specify that we had to request it. This created some anxiety as we were unsure as to where to park. We parked in the adjoining carpark (P2) and paid $35 for 24 hours. Thankfully, we were there early and secured a spot. Upon checking in, we were told there was a car spot available in the Quest carpark for $44!
The room was very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and in walking distance to Qudos Stadium.

A little further away from Giants stadium than other hotels, however the price was better. Very little options (ie breakfast) open in the area on a weekend, despite there being multiple events being held in the precinct.
Cheaper than others in location for that busy weekend and received a phone call 48 hours prior to confirm my reservation and advise there was no longer parking available. This was helpful as I was able to quickly purchase a car park nearby before they soon sold out.

Aircon not working properly and making a noise here and there. The drain in the shower was a little flimsy when stepping on it which u just have to be careful.
Great location and everything is close by which is good. Staff are friendly and very helpful with giving us tips for when going to the easter show as it was our first time going. Only issue i really had was the aircon not warming up and it making a little bit of a noise here and there but other than that everything was fine and we would stay here again! I love that there was an extra blanket to keep us warm through the night! Also was really great to have complementary water for us when we left😊

The bowls and plates could have been cleaner and parking was not available. However it was Easter long weekend so this may have been a factor
The tv was big and had Netflix and YouTube which was great for entertainment during the night.

Post concert, wait time for the lifts to get upstairs was horrendous. Access to stairs would of been handy.

We read the reviews and there were a few about cleanliness and loud air conditioners. We were unlucky and had a room with a noisy air conditioner which sounded like a bubbling kettle. The room itself was clean but did have a little bit of mould in the shower probably because there’s no ventilation in the bathroom and the doona had yellow stains on it. Nothing too sinister, and apart from those small details, it was a great stay!!
Location was perfect for attending a concert. The room was great and had a kitchenette where we could actually cook food. The balcony was great, especially having a screen door to allow for breeze when opened. Had a large TV and the room was very soundproof. Staff were wonderful!

The Bathroom was In need of a good deep clean. It was pretty gross. Didn’t like how the price of the room was more than double because of the high demand for accommodation in the area for a concert
