Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThere was an overpowering smell of incense in the Lobby which our senses never quite got used to.
Welcoming staff set the tone for a lovely stay at Quest Mounts Bay Road. The room was clean and quiet with a leafy outlook towards Jacob’s Ladder.

AustraliaThere was no parking, and the website says it comes with netflix; for some reason i thought that meant they had a netflix account for their guests to use but i had to log into my own.

Malaysia- bathroom lighting not enough. too dark for my liking - room too near to Jacob’s Ladder. Lack of privacy - room lights located right on top of my eye level when i lie down on bed - no international power socket - bathroom not equipped with bidet
uests Mount Bay Road Review First impression when i arrived at hotel lobby was that the hotel looks very fresh and new though it has a simple setup. Greeted with a friendly and warm reception. No frills check in process and was given a room overseeing the Jacob’s ladder as promised during the booking. The room is spacious enough for 1 pax but if there were 2 of us, space can be a bit tight. Housekeeping is quite good judging from the cleanliness of the room or Quest referred it as apartment, as it comes with a functional and sizeable kitchen complete with utensils and basic appliances like electric kettle, microwave oven, fridge and even a toaster. The bathroom is basic but clean. I did find the bathroom light is inadequate, especially at the vanity mirror. Room lightings instead a bit too many lights (6 light points) with 2 directly at top of the bed frame. The lights are not controlled independently so either u on all 6 or off all of them and rely on the bed lamps located at both sides of the bed. I have no choice but to off those ceiling lights most of the time as they are too bright and shined on my eyes directly when i’m lying on the bed. Lastly, while it is nice to have a room that is overlooking the Jacob’s Ladder but the ladder is actually located less than 5-6 steps away from the room. Privacy is a major concern. i have to close up the curtains all the time. At times i can even hear the voice from those folks using the Jacob’s Ladder. I wouldn’t recommend this room. Better asked to check the room when you are there. One thing that I like most is that the location. 10-20min away from the Perth CBD and its near to King’s Park. The location is far enough from hustle and bustle of city centre. Nice.

United KingdomThe hotel is right next to Jacobs ladders which is in use contatntly people running up and down so a privacy blind would be nice.
The room was clean and tidy and quite large and the bus stop was a few minutes walk from the hotel to get to Elizabeth Quay and the trains. There is a large parkd nearby called Kings park which has a raised walkway with lovely views over Perth.

AustraliaLocation was a little far from the main centre although it was nice being in our own area. The shower seemed like it was non compliant, I noticed a leak coming out of the screen from the bottom. A fan in the bathroom would be nice also. TV only had free to air, the few Foxtel channels on the guide were unavailable. The hotel did not have a water fountain, unfortunately the gym was the size of a small bedroom and there was not much equipment - only a cable machine which was not smooth and had too many attachment leavers which compromised the functionality. Our view was unfortunately another building although we had enough natural light coming into the room.
Staff were very friendly, great experience checking in. Interconnecting rooms were nice. The two rooms were very spacious and quiet at night. Aircon worked well and cooled the room down quickly. The beds were very comfortable ! Although we did not use it, it is fantastic the room had a stovetop and oven in case you're wanting to cook your own food!

CanadaNo extractor fan or air freshener in the bathroom. Glass shower door didn’t seal properly—water ran out onto the floor. Fridge condenser humming almost all the time. No little extras in the room or the fridge or kitchen.
Convenient to downtown and Kings Park. Comfy bed, hot shower. Kitchen, fridge, toaster and microwave for when not dining out.

CanadaThe bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly. Coffee had been splattered over the side of the toilet, garbage and wall. There isn’t a grocery store or convenience store nearby. Most everything food wise is a 20 min walk. Most cafes in the area close by 2 or 3 pm
The location was great! It was close to Jacobs ladder and Kings Park. As well you can walk to the shops/restaurants quite easily. We also walked to the university. Transit is accessible, as is the train. Many coffee shops around. The cafe onsite has lovely coffee, breakfasts and lunch. The bed was comfortable and it was a quiet location. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
