How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Apartment size was amazing and loved the living areas. Room was exceptionally clean. Underground parking was great. 2 bathrooms and a laundry was a bonus!

Only thing was cockatoo that squacked early in morning and I assumed it was my daughter :)
Loved the bed, room size, that it had a fridge, stove, microwave, cutlery, cooking utensils and cups. Loved the set up of the cot.... Best I've ever come across.

The decor and view out the windows were uninspiring.
Nice complex, easy to check in. The two bedroom apartment was comfortable and spacious. We arrived in the evening and left early next morning, so did not use many facilities. A coffee shop a few minutes walk away had good breakfast choices.

See above re: gymTV remote and iPad.
Was not aware that there was a requirement to pay for parking at time of booking and subsequently utilised street parking in a rental car. Cannot recall it was ever indicated in the preliminary booking. The gym was a pleasant and most welcomed amenity; however, with 3 x visits I could not locate the TV remote and the fixed iPad for music/entertainment was unserviceable.

Gym could have had another bench available, but otherwise the equipment was standard of a hotel type gym.
Quick and easy to get checked in. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable - bed was great, block out blinds, air con kept room at consistent temperature - honestly, best sleep I've had in a while.

They use casting to cast from your phone to your room TV, Unfortunately this didn't require an individual pin therefore anyone near by your room could choose your TV to cast to or stop and start what you were watching. There's extremely limited parking. And there was no notification of a bond needed until I got to reception desk

Parking has to be booked separately at an additional cost. Even though there were text messages from the property informing me about this before my stay, I was unaware of this at the time of booking. For the price of the rooms, parking should be included in the cost. The washer, dryer were very noisy and needs some looking into.
Rooms were very well presented, neat and tidy, comfortable, large enough. Bathrooms were of good size and very functional. Overall size of the apartment was good for a family of 4. The location is easily accessible and very safe. There are many shopping options and restaurants in the same location which makes it easier for quick shopping and get food quickly.

The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but still a comfortable night sleep. The aircon was only in the living area so it takes a while to cool down the entire room and there isn't an A/C unit in the bedroom.
The apartment was really spacious and had a lot of facilities that made our stay convenient. The smart TV was a nice bonus because you can use it to watch any of your subcription services. The washing machine and dryer was really handy.
