Pool needs attention

The beds were not comfortable at all, had broken sleep most of the time we were there.

The location was great, it suited our needs for what we needed at the time.

Several fixtures needed repairing or replacing.

The location was great - close to the beach and surf club for safe swimming, which also has a great restaurant. About a 1km walk into town. The resort has a nice pool to swim in. Apartment was quite spacious and had everything we needed.

Not clean had to was dishes before we could use them. Gardens unkept.

The dishwasher didn't work the whole time, there were no supplies you had to purchase all condiments etc from scratch, ususally there is something left over in the room. The lounge wasn't big enough to comfortably seat the four of us. There was hole in the door that was just covered over with paper and they didn't service/ change my daugthers bed because there was a bag left on it We were also in the front tower that was very noisy.

The location to the beach and the main street was good. The pool was great as well. The price was reasonable but in comparison could have got more for the money. There is a lot to do in Port Douglas so if you don't spend much time in the room, this is a great option.

Pool spa was colder than the pool, not warm, so my expectation was off there. Had a fold out bed in the room which we had to make up (fine) but the old bed sheets from who knows when we’re left on there, unfolded sofa bed full of crumbs and a dirty scrunched up tissue. Again, easy fix by ourselves but shouldn’t have been like that. Didn’t bother to communicate because had a holiday to be on. Said level 2 during check in, really was level 3. So.many.stairs! I should’ve requested lower floor as other reviews have said, shocking echoing stairs. Fans & air con didn’t work in the rooms, the air con was fixed next day promptly when I communicated this but again, added to the vibe of the holiday not going smoothly. $6 per load of washing FYI & laundry in basement was a walk to get to from our room in the other tower and the stairs so didn’t bother. Tv a pain operate if you don’t know kogan/andriod but thanks to whoever left their Netflix account signed in. The shower/bathroom set up was a bath/shower so the water just basically spills onto the bathroom counter, important to note which bathroom style you would like when staying as there’s different photos so don’t know which one you’ll get if you don’t ask I guess. Again, added to the vibe of holiday being less than standard over a bit of comfort. Parking options are limited, parked on the street most of the time except once actually. Not a bother, but it is after a long day out & about & three flights of stairs to walk up after a walk down the street too.

The pool area of course is the highlight of the property. Pool toys provided so that was appreciated. Room Accommodated for 5 people. Had kitchen with cups plates etc. Staff friendly & communicated well. Issues promptly fixed.

The room was very outdated. Blind was left on the floor, mould on tiles in shower and the occasional cockroach. .

The pool was lovely and the staff were beautiful. So friendly and helpful.

small pool, but overall it was ok. When many guests were in the pool at the same time it was somehow crowded.

The apartment was ok, although lacked those little things that would have made it better, such as more cutlery, utensils, cooking equipment, bathroom spray, oven would have been great if you wanted to cook. Distance to the main street was about 15 min walk which was a little further than advertised

The accommodation was quite nice with a beautiful pool to relax in and very close to 4 mile beach. Well suited for a family holiday. Staff were great. Made it a great and affordable stay. Highly recommend

The apartment was quite dated and there were a few things that needed fixing or could have been improved. The blinds on our bedroom window let the the light in from security lighting outside, we had to put towels over the windows. The bed was not very comfortable and we didn't like the shower over the bath, it was quite dangerous getting in and out.

The property was close to the main st and not far to the beach. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and the tropical plants around the area made it very pleasant for relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen was equipped with most things to prepare some meals.

Apartments are now quite dated, minimal consumables privided, and in 12 day stay, the apartment was not made up...

Wasn’t the most cleanliest, previous customer bikini bottoms left out on the patio, feet was black from the floor dirty inside and out. As soon as you walk in it’s a damp old musty smell which never goes away. Had only one toilet roll and when I went to reception to get another one he reluctantly gave me another one saying I need to buy toilet roll myself!!??

Great location only 3 min walk to beach and 10 mins to main st. Was great value for money compared to anyone else in the area. Booked last minute and they made my request of a ground level apartment. Staff was friendly on check in. Great wifi and a/c.

Fridge icebox all iced up and Unusable. Tap fittings loose and leaky.

The room wasn't very sound proof from the surrounding rooms or walkways.

The rooms had ceiling fans and were a close walk to the beach and into Port Douglas centre.

Some of the units in the bathroom need repair, could do with a non-slip coating in the shower over bath as I slipped!

Noisy corridor. Knowing guest required to wash dishes and no dishwasher, I felt compelled to wash everything before use. The steep Driveway from carport when wet is dangerous.
