We were not aware of the operation hours of the pool which is sunrise to sunset only.

Room with sea view. Very relaxing. It was what we’ve expected for. Good food with the buffet breakfast.

I felt it was very musky locked up smell. It was very damp feeling even the sheets . We were also just above the reef bar that was quite noisy.

The food at the hotel was pretty average. Breakfast at the hotel was $48 so we skipped that and tried breakfast by the marina but that was very average also. So we went to the IGA to buy a toaster and bread. The restaurant options on Hamilton island are fairly mainstream so I think we'd get bored eating there if we'd stayed any longer. The best place we ate at was Manta Ray.

Hotel is in a great location across from the main beach, and has stunning views from all the rooms. It's easy to get everywhere on the free shuttle buses. It's fun to hire a buggy but it's not really necessary unless you're staying somewhere that's not on the shuttle route. The hotel pool was nice and large although a bit boring. The resort pool a short walk away was more interesting with a swim up bar, right next to the beach, live music sometimes. There's lots to do on Hamilton island which was brilliant. We went jetskiing and hiked up to Passage Peak (lovely views up there and it's only a one hour hike from the hotel). We went to One Tree Hill bar for sunset - that's a gorgeous spot and the caprioskas are good! The room itself is tired but it was clean. There were 4 of us and it was really spacious. The balcony overlooking the sea was pleasant and there was usually a parrot perched on the rail to keep us company.

Our first room was not one of the refurbished rooms so it was tired and scruffy. We changed to a refurbished room and it was great. Didn't like the many noisy birds screeching around the hotel

The views from the hotel were fantastic. Everything on the island was within easy reach thanks to the free shuttle bus.

The bathroom was dirty. It needed updating, particularly painting and grout. There was an odour at times in the room/bathroom (possibly from an external source)

The view was exceptional (12th floor). The location was easily located to all external areas of the resort. The main room was clean & tidy.

The buffet offered at $65 per person was mediocre at best. The food was not to restaurant quality and overpriced for what was delivered.

The room was lovely and comfortable with amazing views. A little dated, however. The staff were outstanding. Transfers and transport where fantastic.

The view from our room was amazing. We were also happily surprised the hotel offered a wonderful buffet dinner.

Be careful about booking in the school holidays if you don’t have kids! Hamilton Island is basically a hot Center parcs. It also wasn’t clear that beach activities on catseye were included in the hotel package. We luckily found out on our last day and went paddle boarding and snorkelling!

Lovely room view and size. Location was good. Shuttle buses were great and helpful. Would also say the transport to and from the airport was organised and smooth.
