How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A hotel close to the airport. It's like stepping into a hotel in Vegas. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

It was a late booking so price was very reasonable. They have upgraded the rooms which were very comfortable.. Bar was clean and modern and service was good.

Staff attitude could be better especially the receptionist when checking in, though it didnt really bother us as we didnt have to see a receptionist again after. There were also no house keeping, we heard them coming and knocking on other rooms so we left the room. When we came back there were new towels on the bed but the room was undone and the bin were not emptied. Wifi also very weak.

Only minutes away from Airport so ideal location. Hotel bar and restaurant downstairs so we had dinner there which was quite good. 2 free drink vouchers also added to our accommodation.

The room was small but clean and fresh and had all the necessities for a comfortable night and a free drink from the bar for each guest! No breakfast on site though. Perfectly good as a stop over.

Had to wait for a long time before someone came to the reception. They had a phone to ring for someone but it just kept ringing. This was at around 3.30 pm. But once we got their attention the process was simple and they were very helpful with instructions.

- the shower leaked everywhere which meant the whole bathroom floor was wet if you had a shower - very small rooms however we knew this when booking - no windows that you can see out of or open. - no elevator- it does say this in the description but just be aware you will need to climb a set of stairs
- Great location if needing to be close to the airport - still close to other areas as well - easy check in and check out - easy free parking - clean modern room - comfortable beds

The staff in the restaurant could have been more professional and accommodating considering we waited 50 mins for entrees, 30 mins for drinks, and then 45 mins for mains. We had to wave staff down to ask about our meals as the bar was hardly attended. The lady in the restaurant was quite rude and offered no compassion due to the wait times and the fact we were in house guests. More communication could have turned our night around, but we were sitting there wondering what had happened to our money that we had spent in the venue. Also, we used the ordering app on the tables, and there was very poor communication around the ordering- maybe more training needs to happen within the kitchen and bar/wait staff. It is very disappointing as the location is great for travellers.
Close to the airport. The lady in reception was very accommodating. She allowed us to check in early with our luggage as we had to return a hire car. She was kind, respectful, and very informative.

Bistro meals were lovely. Ample parking. Modern room, very clean and fresh. Comfy beds and lovely linen. Complimentary drink voucher and 10% off meals. Close to city and airport.

Rooms nicely updated in this older hotel. Even included iron and ironing board , and a hairdryer. Also USB port on the power point at bedside table. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good overnight stay 10 minutes from Adelaide airport.

This hotel doesn't do breakfasts. Dinner was ok. Staff were hard to find. There's no lift so had to carry 2 very large suitcases up the stairs to room.
