How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Inside very attractive and calming, but perhaps a little dark.
Location was ideal - being the west end of town - close to attractions, parks, and Fremantle history and art culture. Parking area and entrance access was convenient, particularly when arriving "out of hours" . We will certainly stay again.

The bar across the road from my window had karaoke or live music every night.
The manager made it very easy to check in and out even though my flights were the middle of the night. Feels very welcoming and lots of privacy, the kitchen was a huge plus. Such a great location for all the fun Fremantle things. Really hip cocktail places down the street.

Fantastic location right in the centre of Fremantle. Easy access to public transport and the sights of Freo. Staff extremely helpful and easy check in /out

My only thing would be not enough little milk capsules for the coffee etc. And I kind of didn't like that there was only 1 towel for each of us for a stay longer then 24hrs 2 each would've been much better.
Loved our stay we didn't want to leave. We will definately stay here again. Monica was very welcoming and helpful on our arrival. The reception area was beautiful with all the old brick work showing & the antique items around. Very welcoming feeling as U enter the place. We were shown where everything was on our way being escorted to our room which was unexpected but a great thing. The room was exactly as described. Lovely and clean. The balcony was private & a nice size. The tv was a lovely big size nice & clear with access to all the channels available. Free wifi was an added bonus & we were both connected the entire stay & didn't have problems with the connection at all. The bed was very comfortable. Maybe add an extra towel for each person (incase the towels are very wet) as I didn't think 1 towel each for a stay longer then 24hrs is enough but that's just my opinion lol. It was peaceful and quite which was unexpected with the location. Parking was easy enough to get in & out of. We didn't have any problems with anyone or anything. The other guests we came in contact with were all polite and friendly which also made the stay great. Access in & out was easy and location is almost perfect alot of venues nearby to eat at and venture to.

No iron or ironing board. Yes you can ask for it but I think it should already be in there.
The building is beautiful and lady on reception was fantastic.

The Rialto was very centrally located in Fremantle near the train, ferry and lots of restaurants. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean and the staff very friendly.

Towels small and cheap compared with other hotels , ice tray to small, wine glasses could be larger. Only small things but may help 😊

There is a little noise if you are sleeping in the front bedroom facing the street as you are in the heart of Freo. It didn’t bother us.
Fantastic location. Apartment suites were lovely, comfortable with everything you need, 2 bedrooms with adjoining bathroom and a huge daybed. Balcony a great space to chat have coffee or watch the world go by. (Pics taken from balcony). Off street parking provided. Beach close by. And bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes on your doorstep.

The street is busy in the night (bar/cafe) which is nice because all is close but you hear this. So if you are a light sleeper this room is not suitable. I would advise curtains! The room in the back is very bright in the mornings and afternoon.
The room (two bedrooms) was spacious for a family with child. The kitchen was fully equipped and there is enough space to prepare the food properly. When arriving the room was very clean.

Pillows were not the best- too small or too big!
Spacious clean and comfortable room, in a great spot. The trains were very handy for getting around.
