Nothing. This was one of my most amazing experiences in the Hunter Valley and it gave me everything and more for what I paid.

RidgeView is the epitome of calm and serenity. From the beautiful landscape surrounded by the vineyards, amazing wildlife and absolutely wonderful lodges, I had the most amazing stay. The 2 bedroom was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a weekend away. The restaurant served delicious and extremely well plated food. The chefs show their care and love in every bite. I was happily surprised considering the price we paid and I would book again in a heartbeat. It is nestled in the best side of the valley but close enough to all amenities and stores. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

So quiet and peaceful. Everything we could have hoped for. Kris was a wonderful host. Dinner was amazing and we didn't have to drive. Highly recommended.

I was put off by the discolouration of the water, which they explain results from the iron bark trees and is treated with a carbon filter. Even though I knew it was clean, the spa bath wasn't as inviting once filled with brown water. The toilet flush was also very weak and it took a few flushes to get 'it' to disappear. There were a couple of little things that seemed to be overlooked - like the empty packet of tissues in the bathroom.

The cottages are spaced nicely and look out onto a lake. It feels like you're in the middle of the bush, with very little noise or light pollution. We stayed in Jingella and most luxuries have been thought of - bath robes, fire starters, candles, two bottles of wine, fully equipped kitchen (but no dishwasher), tea and coffee, milk, tennis rackets and even a basketball for the court. We went to the restaurant for dinner on the Saturday night and it was nice and quiet with good food and service. It was a really lovely stay, the only thing I found disconcerting was the colour of the water.

There's not much not to like! If anything, the location may not suit everyone as it's a bit further out than the centre of polkobin.

The cabin was private and cosy with an open fireplace and a complimentary bottle of wine. We did wine tasting on site and had dinner in the restaurant. The owner (Darryl) was very hospitable and even let us pick a few herbs from the garden. We went for a run around the property on the final morning at sunset which was amazing as there were kangaroo's along the entire trail.

Short drive from heart of Hunter Valley but still perfect. The villa didn’t have a smart TV so we had to rely on a couple of DVDs provided.

I don’t have anything to add

The privacy and ambience was second to none. The serenity of the property, the beautiful food at the restaurant served by such kind staff was the best we’ve experienced. The cottage is very large for two people and has everything and more that you would want for a romantic relaxing weekend. you really have thought of everything. We will be back in winter to experience the hot jacuzzi on the deck and fire place inside the cottage. This time around we had the pool all to ourselves for hours, which was both unexpected and unbelievable. Thank you for such an amazing experience
