Mattress was a little too firm. Would love for their to be kayaks next time and I saw they were working toward that. Maybe some more menus for places in triabunna, Swansea and Bicheno?

Great location, beautiful house. Especially loved the guide book left for us so we knew exactly where things were and what was expected. Will definitely stay again.

A mat inside the main entry as it was wet weather and we were concerned about muddy shoes. A couple more bedside lamps plus 2 extra dining room chairs. The 2 bar stools were a little uncomfortable.

Location was great. Excellent book about Walks in Tasmania was helpful for our trip to Maria Island.

As the hosts realised they needed to add furnishings such as bedside tables and lamps in bedroom 2 and 3. Also could have invested in top sheets for all beds as it was warm. Champagne glasses would have been nice too.

Fabulous location and great kitchen and living room. Very well supplied with condiments, dish washing gear and clothes washing powder. Loved the view of the river and the proximity to a good coffee shop. So comfortable for we elderly ladies 😊

A beautiful peaceful setting by the water. The modern home was clean and comfortable with an excellent kitchen and amazing views. Ideal base for a trip to Maria Island. Excellent cafes a short walk across the bridge. Would definitely stay here again.

Ther was a comprehensive supply of supplies and condiments to cook a delicious meal in a well stocked kitchen. There were also board games to pass the time away on a cold, wet day.

Nothing could be better it was flawless!

The house is situated- as the name suggests- right on the river with huge windows in the living area facing the water. The views were stunning and the little reading area was perfect for having a hot cup of tea and watching the water. There is also a lovely little balcony overlooking the water which we didn’t make much use of because the outside air was very crisp but it would be a great place to sit on warm days. The whole house was tidy and well fitted out with everything you could possibly need. We were so pleasantly surprised to find tea and coffee in the cupboards which was a lifesaver when we arrived and realised all the shops had already shut for the day. There’s also provided boardgames and giant Jenga! Communication with the hosts was a breeze and they were always polite, helpful and accommodating. I could not recommend this location any higher and we’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Tasmania.
