The hotel is a magnificent old building located in the heart of the city surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful .

I suppose I was a little disappointed that the downstairs part was not a working pub and even though there was a restaurant it wasn’t open the evening we were there. So after a long long drive we weren’t able to have a quick meal there.

It’s a great old pub beautifully renovated accommodation rooms upstairs

I liked the room decor and it was well appointed, bed was comfy, quiet. Beautiful old wooden panelling with care taken to preserve the hotel's old character. I'd come back.

No dining facilities for evening mean but this was offset by a number of available meal option of restaurants and clubs in the vicinity.

It was a location that added to the experience of vision Broken Hill with an insight into the past history in an historic pub. Room was comfortable with a great bathroom.

We paid for a room with balcony, but found furniture there tied down under a tarp and its generally accessible anyway. The lounge area looks fantastic but wasn't open as the restaurant only opens in the morning for a continental breakfast that didn't look too exciting. Breakfasted at the Silly Goat instead (recommended).

Hotel in great building with 1940s vibe and decor which we loved. A wonderfully preserved place.

Loose unattached coathangers as well as fixed would be useful. They were provided on request.

The room was comfortable nd the airconditioner quiet. I requested a microwave and it was provided. The tv was at eye level not on the ceiling which makes watching comfortable.

There wasn’t anything not to like

It’s a quaint old hotel that used to be a pub. It’s centrally located in town and we walked everywhere. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We liked the ambience and art deco style. We were promptly greeted by a happy staff member. The squeaky floor boards walking up and down the stairs made it feel old worldly and added atmosphere to the place. Our room had a comfortable king bed with balcony access. Shower/bath set up. Spacious room with fan and aircon. Breakfast $15pp if needed. We didn’t eat in. Plenty of cafés around town. Street parking. Night access key to front foyer door. No lift.

The ceiling fan was noisy and seemed to be going the wrong way. We turned it off so we could sleep. The room was then stuffy.

Location was great, with a lovely charm. Friendly staff. Comfy bed and good bathroom.
