For the price point and luxury feel I would normally expect a heated all weather pool and a bathtub in my room. I knew these things didn’t exist when I booked so i consider it more of an observation than a dislike of the property

As a light sleeper, wasn’t able to sleep with the aircon/heater running as the fan is a bit loud. However, able to switch it off so not a big deal as it was a cool night. But this was a minor issue.

The decor and styling was beautiful! All the staff we dealt with were incredibly helpful and friendly! It was also close to the Shrine of Remembrance, which was great. As my partner is a Veteran and we were attending the Dawn Service on Anzac Day.

We planned a 1 week holiday around Victoria, starting with 1 night at the Royce. The hotel is just stunning and felt like the a Melbourne gem! Nate and the team were there to help with anything that we needed. The beds were comfortable, the mini bar had cute local snacks, and the room included a dyson hairdryer and luxurious bath robes. We had a balcony with tables that looked out over trees and the city. It was easy to catch a tram to Chapel Street for dinner. After dinner, we enjoyed a nightcap at the gorgeous bar inside The Royce. Overall, it was a fabulous stay and I'd love to come back again!

The staff at The Royce are exceptional. They made our stay so nice and comfortable. The location is perfect for Albert Park and only a short Uber to the city. We are looking forward to our next trip to Melbourne and The Royce.

We enjoyed almost every aspect of the stay, although the discordant and unfathomable “music” that accompanied our evening meal was an irritation.

Everything would be perfect except for housekeeping's remiss in replacing the empty facial tissue box two days in a row. It can be overlooked for one day but when it's two consecutive days it became an annoyance.

Room decor, fittings and furnishings are top notch in style and comfort. Everything felt brand new and clean too. In-room dining was excellent. Front desk staff are professional and prompt to help.

Check the expiry dates on the chocolate and snacks in the room. This small thing did not distract from our excellent stay.

The beds are amazing and the staff polite and helpful. The decor is lovely living up to its name the Royce absolutely love this place would stay here again.

The lamb dish for dinner was appalling. Inedible and strange combination. Risotto delicious. No instructions for confusing shower. Hard to find light switches in middle of night.

Surprised it had been renovated since our last stay. New look very glitzy, I preferred, pre-renovation look, but clean, lively and welcoming.
