The cottage is in a great location right outside the national park gate. It was spacious and very well equipped including washing machine.

Comfortable cottage with very good facilities surrounded by greeneries. A short distance away from Russel Fall by car. Good instructions from host to reach the cottage.

The cottages are very well located and within a short walk of the Parks visitor centre and several amazing trail heads. Our cottage was right beside a river channel and we were told platypus are occasionally seen on the banks, though we did not see any. We did see an echidna in the grassy field behind our cottage! The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Owners are undergoing upgrades and we look forward to staying again to see the changes - cottage kitchen could do with a little love and hope to see this as part of the upgrades

The fragrance in the cottage is unnecessary and can be very irritating.(some do have allergic reactions!) We put the cadgets away from the cottage and aired the place thoroughly. I rather smell the surrounding freshness and scent of the bush.

Love the vicinity to the River, and access to the park with many amazing walks in the park. Very friendly hosts. Appreciating the need to be self sufficient Ostküste evenings of the week regarding food!

The hosts Sharon and Brian were brilliant. Very helpful and very friendly. It was our 50h wedding anniversary and Sharon knocked on the door with a lovely card wishing us the best. Very thoughtful. Can’t speak highly enough of them both.

We had trouble getting the heating unit to work, so we relied on the space heater which wasn't always sufficient.

The cottage was very spacious and had lots of windows for natural light. Super location, walking distance to the national Park visitor center. Also very close to tyenna river bridge where we spotted platypus. Plenty of wildlife in the yard as well. Laundry units provided. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen provided everything you needed and a few extras. Very quiet location

Shower was slightly small for big people like us.

The location is amazing. So nice to wake up to a view of the river. Was able to cook a meal in the well equipped kitchen. It was nice that they provided tea coffee milk and some condiments. We saw some pademelons.

Nothing to do with the new managers, but I did mention to them that I had to take two of the heavily scented sticks/atomiser plugs out of the cabin and just wanted to let them know in case I forgot to put them back in there before we left. They very kindly raced over to remove them from our space altogether with no hesitation at all. Very kind managers! ☺️That was exceptional 🙏 Not a complaint just a suggestion .. The cottage had everything we needed except one tiny thing which we only missed at bedtime. We use the blackout curtains when we stay in accommodation as there’s often too much street light or etc but then we need at least a trace of light to visit the bathroom. At home we have used a very inexpensive light sensitive night light plug in bulb that is very low wattage. Something like that is very inexpensive both to run and to buy. ☺️

The location was exceptional. Literally hundreds of metres from walks at a very beautiful national park, and also access to the property’s extensive garden/nature areas. The staff had a change over of management during/after my booking but all staff were friendly and helpful.. The brand new managers were exceptionally friendly and helpful, genuinely enthusiastic and caring. Thank you very much, Tim and Kala. The actual cottage was a delightful older style holiday building with practical and comfortable updates. We really loved the place, actually. ☺️
