I would have given 5 stars for value for money but the buffet breakfast was a bit disappointing. Bacon resembled Jerky, jam donuts were stale and watermelon tasted like the rind and very bitter, despite being the flesh part of the watermelon. Hot Breakfast needs improvement to ensure quality of products.

Bathroom was old and difficult to get in to with a shower/bath design. Location also wasn't close to the train station. A bit expensive for what it is.

everything was fantastic until check out. we checked in close to midnight, the night reception staff member was fantastic, when we called earlier in the day to say we would be checking in really late the staff member we spoke to was great, the room attendant we passed on the floor when leaving was friendly and polite….then at reception we encountered someone who obviously hated their job. there was no greeting at all just a curt “was there anything from the mini bar?”the answer was no. there were no further words spoken by the staff member at all, so we left with a terrible impression of the place.

One of two bins were not empty on check in. Room temperature control range was 20 - 24 degrees & could not be turned off. Front door of room was too heavy for my wife to open. Shower temperature varies , probably due to neighboring water use.

Great food at Catholic club. Staff refilled my bottle with filtered water on request, but you can do it yourself at Ibis. Excellent location.

The air-conditioning seemed to struggle. We had to open the balcony door, but it was quite noisy outside so the sleep was not that good.

The room faced north and because Rydges don't allow the Air Con be lower than 20 degrees (I prefer 18 or less) it got very hot during the day. This made it un comfortable. Also the TV doesn't work.

the design of the bathroom. sink too deep hard to reach over if you are short. shower with no door means water goes everywhere.

Original room was large and roomy. Comfortable bed. Due to problem with hot water we were moved supposedly upgraded. Second room smaller, less comfortable. badly designed bathroom. Staff great, was also offered a free breakfast for rest of stay, which was accepted.

From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful, had a lovely meal in the bar even though it was nearly closing time. Bed and room very comfortable, great shower and quiet. We had a very good breakfast plenty of choice.

Bed, far to soft and un comfortable, in general the room needs to be upgraded. The carpert is very strained I have stayed at this hotel many times and comments above and across the rooms I have been in mostly.
