Balcony door didn't close properly or lock. But really wasn't a huge issue.

Bed was very comfortable. The whole hotel itself was kept nice and clean. And rooms were comfortable.

Rooms did not have laundry bags and lotion. Staff at the breakfast who made my coffee was really good. Reception staff were a bit abrupt. Toilets were average.

Except for the beds and bathroom sink, the rest was dirty. The carpet looked as if it had been years since the last time it was cleaned, the shower had mould spots amd there were finger marks in the doors.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfy and great location.

1. The water kettle was old and dirty. When my dad and my husband tried to pull to water from the kettle into their cup, the lip opened itself. Both my husband and my dad had a burn incident. I was recommended to replace the water kettle to prevent the burn injury. Fortunately, we have the ice pack in our own first aid kit. 2. the mugs were dirty and we washed them ourselves.

Loud party on the Saturday night. Pillows are either quite hard or incredibly soft. Cost is quite high for one night.

Scrambled eggs.

It was all fine. The scrambled eggs were grainy, next time I will just have cereal and fruit. Room was fairly quiet, shower is excellent. Ease of parking was excellent.

Pool is not child friendly as there are no shallow ends, which resulted in us paying $25 entry to pools close by. It's also very hot down there. Sauna was not very hot and unable to increase the heat. Spa was disgusting! Merky yellow water. So gross. Parking is $18/night. No off-street parking, but I was told free parking behind the building but not safe. There are too many break-ins. Paid the fee, went into car park, and it's just as unsafe as outside. Suckers got me! The shower design is stupid. Shower head sprays in all different directions, toilet right at the entry of the shower so toilet gets soaked just as the floor does Very poorly thought out, sliding door would have been smart. Not enough towels are provided for you or the floor. There were no bedside tables, which would have been good and convenient to have.

The Buffet breakfast was really good. Coffee was good. Reasonably close to attractions but still need to travel for some. The beds were comfy. It was quiet I liked that we had control of the air-conditioning. That was great. WiFi was very reliable and fast.

The room was looking a bit "tired". There has obviously been a water issue with the shower as the skirting board in the main room (behind the shower) was badly water damaged (swollen timber, cracked paint, etc) and the carpet had shrunk away from the wall. There was hand soap for the vanity which was good because the body wash pump pack in the shower was empty. There were three people staying in a double room, but only two towels..... My daughter used them both!!! I used the hand towel. 😔 Since my review of the Statesman hotel, last week, I checked out the top of the built-in headboard and it too was covered in a pretty good layer of dust. It must be a thing!

The beds were very comfy and my daughter loved the pool. Breakfast had a good selection and the atmosphere was good. Light and airy.

Out of conditioner upon arrival, requested restock and again wasn't filled. Toilet paper ran out day 2. Towels at pool always not enough.
