    Good value for money accommodation.

Fridge is very small with no freezer compartment - only good for drinks. Access to the room is via external stairs - no lift. Room service menu limited in choice and only delivered in take away containers.

Great location close to the Hobart city; plenty of parking; very comfortable large bed and good size bathroom with twin basins and a good shower. Good sized accommodation with a separate lounge area to the main bedroom.

The only thing we didn't enjoy this time was the proximity to the restaurant. Our room was right above it and the noise from breakfast woke us up each morning. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again though!

This was the second time we have stayed here and we always feel very comfortable in the rooms.

A bit disappointed with the room (52) as it didn’t quite have that historic vibe that I expected, mainly due to the light grey carpet! Disappointed with credit card charge, would have used the card as a savings card if I knew.

Room was large and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly.

The showers drainage wasn’t very good. The water leaked into the bedroom. I was a little concerned that this may go into the carpet and could or may have already caused mould in the carpet. It would also be good to know how to check out early.

It was easy to get to a lot of different places near the hotel.

They arranged early check-in for us. They stored baggage for us while we were away. They called up an airport taxi no problem. The hotel is a charming heritage building.

A lovely room which was more like an apartment with its separate living area. Was perfect room for a two night stop over. Short drive to the harbour side. Short walk to an iGA and cafes. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to access early check in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfy. Really enjoyed our stay.

Didn't realise it was so far from town, but view was good. Stairs were a bit difficult to negotiate with luggage (more difficult when you are older). Some of the "hot" dishes for breakfast were lukewarm.

Loved the bathroom and separate sitting area. Also loved the bar.

While looking nice the bed felt like it may fall apart during certain activities. The fridge is in a cupboard so unless you leave the door open it doesn't stay cool, management should remove the doors

Wish the unit had additional outlet plugs by the bed.

Enjoyed our stay in this large room. The space is pretty nice with the room, which had its own living room. The unit also included a set of plates, fork and knives. Also had a microwave.

We didn't need anything really, however the breakfast whilst nicely presented wasn't marvellous.

We most liked the position of the room with a door into the garden at the front of the property. The bathroom was excellent and we enjoyed having the two sections of the room, so family could join us for a drink.

The breakfast was average. It was convenient being Easter but 3 continuous days of same food wasn't great. We also couldn't use 2x $10 off vouchers as the restaurant was closed on Easter Sunday.

Ample parking and quiet but convenient location. The staff were very friendly.

No provision for lunch…..would have been good to have light bar snacks or something.

The spacious rooms in a heritage style…..the breakfast…..the big comfy bed and reasonable sized bed…..location close to sports facilities we were using daily….also fairly close to city centre.

No lift meant carrying bags up stairs although the office people did offer to help. Up and down the stairs needs to be kept in mind. Also you couldn’t get food at lunch or even bar snacks, or we couldn’t over the weekend? It wasn’t close to Salamanca and eating places.

The old style of the hotel was lovely and the room was so spacious. Parking was easy outside too.
