It was all good.

The room presents very well and comfortable. The bed was outstanding for comfort and the linen was the nicest we'd slept on in years, so much so we noted the brand. The weather board (with the upcoming forecast) placed on the bed was a nice touch with some chocolates. Outside, there is a lovely seating area near the pool amongst the palms. Overall, it's a great little place. We'd definitely stay there again.

Sadly for our room the shower gel container was empty, I'm all for less waste but refillable containers need to be checked. The house keeper asked us to move our car back from the path to get the cart along, it would be good if this was made clear when first parking, maybe a sign, she had to knock on nearly all doors most people came out a little surprised by this.

The reception was exceptional, very friendly and informative one of the best greetings we've encountered. The bed was very comfortable and the room user friendly, modern kettle and coffee maker, some home made style cookies were a lovely touch. This has been an old motel tricked up to be modern and welcoming also a weather prediction for the next day. Shower was good. The owner recommended the Lake Tyers hotel for dinner and it was great, including the courtesy bus both ways.

There were lots of little touches in the room that made a difference, welcome board with weather temp & chocs. It was very clean and a selection of snacks we could purchase. Sheets on the bed were lovely, too. Would have been happy there for a longer stay.

A gem in Lakes Entrance. The room was great and had a lot of character. Clearly the owners put a lot of passion in the decoration and care for the place. Even offered freshly baked cookies. Definitely recommend

Sandbar is a great cosy place to stay and unwind. The extra little touches such as cookies on arrival and the location to the main street is quite handy. Even with the slight inconvenience with the storm we were made to feel at ease and updated the whole time.

This property is a modest little motel that is beautifully furnished with great attention to detail and very pleasant to stay in. Location is right in the centre of Lakes Entrance, with only a short walk/drive to shops, restaurants and the beach.

Owner Fiona was very welcoming and immediately aside us with a restaurant reservation nearby. Our room was very comfortable with every conceivable comfort included .... Fresh cookies, chocolates, extra face cloths and more.

Motel was in a great location and the added touches made it feel like home. Staff went out of the way to make us feel they cared cookies when we arrived and afternoon tea the next day. Even though this hotel isn't modern the added touches make it a great place to stay. My husband especially liked having a lounge to sit on to watch TV.

Really helpful reception staff with plenty of local info and knowledge, the room was a good size, clean and well stocked with all we needed. Great location for visiting Lakes entrance and surrounding areas. Would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Lakes Entrance.

Great Motel that has been beautifully furnished with attention to detail. The owners obviously really care about the details, from the quality of the bedding, toiletries, to the handmade cookies, mini-bar full of snacks, wireless charging for your smart phones next to the bed, comfortable pillows and cushions. The furnishings are more like you'd expect in a luxury hotel than a motel.
