How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No wifi connection even though it said wifi available and no communication from staff when messaged via txt just left on read and no response even though they advised to message if require anything. Need new curtains but that’s minor.
Pool, spa and location and good value for money. Not modern but Nice & tidy apartments. Comfortable. Close to beach, bowling club and everything.

The light in the hallway and one of the bedrooms didn't work. Some of the surfaces (bedside table, dining table) hadn't been cleaned properly - eg were sticky.

There was no wifi which was frustrating as we had called to especially ask if there was. After several days the manager agreed for us to purchase a wifi card which was reimbursed so my husband could continue to work whilst we were away so after initial frustrations it was a great end result and we would love to visit again
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment and the facilities available to us. We went straight to the supermarket and filled the fridge, knowing we could cook meals in the kitchen rather than eat out for our entire stay. Our 3 children enjoyed the spa and pool despite the rain!

it could do with a really good deep clean.
The location is perfect for the kids football trip. kids loved the pool, spas and sauna. Communication with the apartment staff answering my check in questions was great. full kitchen facilities was a bonus.

No way undercover way to get to the car from the apartments, so bring an umbrella. Bring some beach towels too for the pool.
Clean spacious apartments with plenty of amenities and decent comfortable beds. The pool was great, my kids enjoyed splashing around. Perfect for a lower cost stay in Coffs where you want to be comfortable but don't need the 5 star hotel experience.

No wifi to keep the kids happy. And they closed the pool, Spa and Sauna everyday between 7-8.30… my wife and I were looking forward to a hot spa and steam time in the sauna once we had the kids fed and in bed. We were particularly looking forward to this but alas we weren’t able to enjoy the facilities.
Loved the facilities, and the location was great.

The pillows - hard as a rock, and too high. Bathroom and toilet could have been cleaner. Had trouble with remote for the TV - wouldn't work after we had been watching for a while and so had to turn it off at the wall. Worked again okay the following morning.

(1) The receptionist lady at the front desk on the day we checked in (29th March 2024) is very nice , helpful and professional. The apartment we had is privately owned and is badly dated and tired.
The location and pool/spa outside area and bbq area is great. When sitting outside you don’t even realise you’re in a very popular accommodation area.

Laundry and toilet room light broken. Toilet cistern faulty..making noise thru the night. TV outdated majority channels can't be seen. Bedside table dusty. Found dirty oven tray inside the oven. Noisy fridge on the second day stayed. No shampoo provided. Found big hot water tank inside the wardrobe. Internet login does not work..signin thru website doesn't work. Aircon remote doesn't work even after battery replaced. Sofa looked tired as leather peeled.
Location is the best. Easy to go around.

There is no toilet in the place. No frying pan. Food desensitised, not working and smells. When I reported all we were told was, I would tell the owner. We had to buy a new fry pan to cook our tea the first night there. We left it for the next people who stay there. Ties in the kitchen were not cleaned, and the bench was not cleaned. The shower screens look like they have mould on it. The apartment looks tired, showing its age. I was told that it was showing its age.

The WiFi ticket system, it complicated our 'smart device' setup
It was like a home away from home. Great pool and spas. Loved the location as it was close to the beach and the Hoey Moey. Very secure parking.
