The TV didn’t work. I’m not a good swimmer so didn’t use pool.

Upon our arrival, the room we received was not as advertised. Consequently, we were accommodated in a self-contained room which was excellent and provided without any fuss. Although I had to pay an additional $150, I didn't mind. However, it was not our fault that the advertisement was incorrectly."

Room below explanation :: Pool facilities were excellent , spa was beautiful and warm , pool was excellent & clean Breakfast was ok , bacon was very dry , tough to eat , omelets every morning were excellent , variety of fruits, cereals , excellent , baked beans were also very dry , the best most notable is whoever you have making the morning coffees its the best ive tasted excellent coffee lattes are superb 'all in all overall pretty good 7/10

Internet access was patchy most of the time. I did complain to the front desk but they were unable to do much. In this day and age, where every booking is done online, I would have liked the internet connection to be stable. Also, after a tiring day, we wanted to enjoy movies on Netflix but couldn't do that because of the flaky internet.

The room was clean and well maintained. The property is located in an excellent location, very close to the beach and restaurants. The rooftop spa was well maintained and good.

The steps up to the lap pool and steps up to the bar level from the units beach side...for disability access could have a ramp and/or better hand rails to hold. Also the restaurant has a very limiting menu for dinner.

Loved the apartment, so spacious. Gorgeous pool, lovely bar and cocktails and great staff. Loved that the pool had a hand rail at the steps for help with disability/elderly access.

The beds are appalling - two single beds pushed together and they call it a KING… I ended up sleeping in the crack of the bed! extremely disappointed.

Rooms are tired, needs a paint, 4 nights & bed made but not changed, floor gritty as not swept, ran out of face washes, other guests room service trays by their doors for over a day.

Main reataurant staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Whilst the waitstaff were pleasant the main maitrede was horrendous. I'll spare the details but his attitude is appalling

- F&B staff was not very nice, especially the person taking care of IRD orders and the person in charge of Pool Bar that day (I prefer not to put names in here). - IRD food was cold and expensive for the quality of it. To be fair Front Office proposed me to book a table for us at the restaurant when I reserved the room; we were coming back from a tour and preferred to stay in our room. - At the pool there were glasses (plastic ones) everywhere even in the middle of the bushes surrounding the pool. There were kids in the Jacuzzi “Adult Only” and nobody said anything (I know this might be a parents problem but I would have appreciate the staff to intervene). - No complementary water in the rooms. A 1/2 l bottle from the mini bar costs 4,50$. - The curtains in the room are small and make to much light pass through. There is no way to have a dark room after 7am. - Even if I specifically asked for a quiet room, someone decided to clean the leaves at the entrance of the hotel with a blower at 6:30 am. I understand that it needs to be done, but at 6:30 am in front of guests windows?

- Front office staff 10/10, very nice. I’ve been called prior my stay and the day of my check in to let me know my room was ready in advance. - The F&B attendent who delivered our IRD order was very nice and smiley. He even run back (literally) to provide some cutlery because we didn’t have any in the room. - Room was overall very good, beautiful, spacious with everything you may need on a short stay and very clean (tv, fridge, kettle, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, digital alarm, iron and table, desk etc.) - Pool was fine, there was enough space for everyone and a Jacuzzi Adult Only that we really appreciate (when it was actually Adults Only). - The duty manager in charge gifted us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our 5 years anniversary. I unfortunately don’t drink alcool but I really appreciate the attention.

Studio room we stayed in needed some TLC and a good clean . The bathrooms were in bad condition with green mould on the shower door, broken tiles and dirty floors . Shower pressure was terrible . Cushions and curtains had mildew on them . Room needs a renovation to be worth $600 per night. Housekeeping was a bit random with dirty cups left behind and having to ask for clean towels and top up of tea and coffee . Food options in the hotel are limited and pricey but the restaurant strip is a short walk away where there are better options

Resort is very pleasant and well located . Set back from the beach and sheltered from the winds and busy restaurant strip . Pool area very good and grounds are tropical and relaxing

The WIFI is disgraceful, clearly an old system. It needs an investment urgently. My wife & I run our own businesses and need WIFI wherever we go. Coupled with unsatisfactory WIFI and hopeless Telstra phone signal, it made it very difficult for us to do what we needed to do. On several days the WIFI signal kicked us out of the system up to a dozen times. That also impacted on TV viewing because the signal was distorted. Our unit's furniture was almost too uncomfortable to sit on. Old and lumpy couches and chairs, tired, scratched and outdated furniture. I emailed the manager for polite feedback however she hasn't bothered to answer me.

Both restaurants are excellent. Staff were terrific, location suited us.

What a great stay. Beautiful property in good location. Staff were great, even scored an upgrade which is fantastic after a long flight. Would definitely stay here again should we return to palm Cove
