Unfortunately the pictures were not quite how the place looked.. the balcony is very tiny, a few things falling apart and aged. The shower sprayed everywhere and the towels supplied were not enough to keep the bathroom from becoming a slipping hazard. The cost for something out of the city was not quite worth it.

Location was perfect tram right outside straight to the city. Having the balcony and a view was great and the service was good when ever we needed anything.

The room was smaller than I expected: There was an empty minibar, no room phone, blinds not curtains, a wild wind rattled the strcture outside my window. The terrace was an unexpected bonus; the decor could be called contmporary minimalist, but I suspect that was more about economy rather than style. All up though, I would stay there again - perhaps a different room though. the location couldn't have been better for my purposes.

The beds weren’t super comfortable and unfortunately the AC wasn’t working properly. Every night we stayed it would blow hot air instead of cold and the remote didn’t even work.

We liked the included kitchen and all the utilities that came with it, the bathroom was pretty decent as well. It came with a washer and dryer which was very nice.

The heater in room 1027 was so noisy you couldn't leave it on at night. The worst heater noise I've ever experienced. They shouldn't let the room out like it. Also the whole place is looking old. The bathroom is updated but the rest of the room and common areas need freshening up.

The whole place needs an update. The room looked tired and the pillows needed replacing . The air conditioner was old and the paint in the passage was peeling off the wall.

    Car parking spots too small

for the price i paid, it was wonderful and great value. However a few small things. 1. there should be 2 bedside tables and lamp for a double bed. Why is there only one? 2. Gym was great but 1 treadmill wasnt working 3. Heater wasnt working when i first got there but they fixed it promptly after i told reception

A bit tired/run down in the rooms and hallways but common facilities are well maintained. You get what you pay for.

Great value hotel. Clean rooms. Good location, right on the tram line between city centre and St Kilda. Beautiful heritage building with modern tower attached.

There is no restaurant, no room service, no breakfast, no in room mini bar or any other option for food or drink. Even though it is advertised as having these! Also there was a mouse in the room.

Shower curtains would have been handy as the shower did get a lot of water on the floor in the bathroom. the pillows were really thick so it made it hard to sleep but otherwise the bed was fine. we were able to get softer pillows at front desk though.

The proximity to the tram line directly into the city was great. Id stay here again for the surrounding area it was really nice and quiet compared to staying in the cbd. If I was staying somewhere with the sole intention of being out of the hotel doing things this place is good for it.

Little things like the lack of a towel rack next to the shower (on other side of the bathroom). Toilet roll placement next to the toilet behind you (when sitting). Poor signage out the front to show the location of the hotel.

Good location with the main tram line right out side, stop 26 directly out the front door. Close to Albert Park too. Very friendly staff and a modern, contemporary feel to the hotel.

There were some parts of the room that we were underwhelming such as it looked like there was once a fully equipped room previously, however the basics of basic essentials were provided, to the point budget description may be generous given the name attached to the hotel, with restrictive options for tea and coffee of two cups to be possibly made, no microwave in case you wished to heat some food etc, no plates available or bowls… The air conditioner remote worked when it wanted to … and it seemed as if the only option was artic cold or artic cold. The small balcony was ok but very dirty as far as dirt and grime… Front desk staff were ok, not over attentive .. However not rude … but again provided the bare minimum in what a check in requires … and the lifts at the time of our stay were not fully operational on one side .. and it was a lucky dip if it worked or you had to get out and figure out how to the get the other side working …

    The room was adequate.

Will be better when all the renovations are finished. The drains smelt a bit , they needed to be cleaned out.

It was in walking distance to the venue I needed to get to. The beds were really comfortable and the room was really clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
