Parking is on the street. Safe enough but a wee bit inconvenient. There is no alternative though.

Catering to breakfast was quite satisfactory. We were the first guests after Cyclone Jasper and subsequent flooding which shut down Port Douglas for a week because of damage to its water supply. There was a lot of damage to roads and homes in the wider vicinity. Nevertheless, Sea Views had its own water supply. Richard did an amazing job to clean up his acreage and present it attractively. The accommodation was spotless too. Richard is a considerate host, always keen to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. He produces a quality pale ale. Ricardo's Pizzaria is well worth trying. Richard can assist.

Very nice view and very welcoming hosts. There is only one room, so you can enjoy the peace, quiet and superb view as a couple. Highly recommended as a romantic stay close to Port Douglas.

The location is beautiful, there was so much attention to detail and the place was immaculately clean. The owners are wonderful and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We couldn't have asked for a more lovely stay.

Fantastic 2 night stay in Oak Beach. Richard couldn’t have been friendlier and he and Marti have thought of every little detail to make your stay the best possible. Beautiful setting, spotless apartment and a good location to base yourself for far North Queensland (with a car).

Couldn’t originally find where the entrance was TV - no free to air. Had to use laptop for streaming. No library.

Location was perfect for us. Close enough to , but far enough away from Port Douglas . Oak Beach is very pretty. Worth a visit. The little supply of treats was very welcome. Had a very relaxing stay.

Richard and Marti are amazing hosts! The place is surrounded by the forest and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. Very unique experience, highly suggested! Also the apartment is lovely and equipped with everything you could need.

Nothing, it was a great experience.

The hosts were very hospitable, the accomodation in a beautiful location, was clean, comfortable. there was fresh fruit, cereals, muesli bars and even a bottle of beer in the fridge. The bird song and local wildlife was fantastic. It is a paradise found. The best location of our Aussie holiday so far. Hard to beat.

The bed and shower could have been more spacious.

We enjoyed our stay very much in this special patch in Oak Beach! We were welcomed by Richard on arrival who was friendly and eager to ensure our time at Seaviews was incredible. Thoughtful touches included fruit, chocolate and homebrew beer and the most amazing colourful fire which we enjoyed from the balcony on our final night. Oh and the pizza was a real treat after travelling. Piping hot and super fresh and flavoursome!

The walk to the beach felt a bit unsafe (walking along the main road). We felt the short drive was a better option.

Great experience, 100% would stay again! The room itself is very cosy and comfortable and the property is neat and well looked after. It has everything you need to make you feel at home, plus some extra details that the owners have added to make it special. We in particular loved the lump coal BBQ experience that Richard helped set up.

Seaviews was honestly one of the nicest private accomodations we have ever stayed in. Every detail is considered and the room itself is so comfortable and relaxing. Richard and Marti made us feel very at home, setting up the webber bbq with everything it needed and lighting a fire on the last night of our stay. Oaks beach is a short stroll away, but you can also happily sit on the balcony and watch the ocean and clouds roll by. We will certainly return if back in the area, can't recommend enough!

Seaviews at Oak Beach was private, peaceful and tranquil. It's away from the main tourist areas of North Queensland, and suited our needs perfectly. Our hosts remained in the background and made sure we had all that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. They provided that little bit extra that was special to add to the atmosphere (the fire pit lit at night while we had dinner in our room).

Outstanding weekend getaway… Private, peaceful location. Beautiful spot on the map in NQ. Fantastic Hosts! Richard and Marty added some lovely touches to the studio for our stay.... We were surprised when opening the fridge.... Inside were Chocolates, fruit (including fresh Strawberries) heaps of milk, Richards Homebrew beer, bottled water, and the pantry was full of breakfast items!
