There is no wifi, and mobile download speeds were patchy.

The cottages are located between Ballendean and Stanthorpe, offering convenient access both to the wineries to the north and the national parks to the south. Our cottage nicely decorated and well-equiped. The birdlife was plentiful, and access to the Severn River a bonus.

As advertised there are other guest cottages on the property but my preference would be to have more privacy

Very easy to find the property & gain access. Communication from Host was excellent & such a lovely touch to find a bottle of local wine & breakfast goodies on the table. Great fireplace too

Location was fantastic, right in between town centre and national park tourist activities. Sufficient fire wood and cute little basket of breakfast goodies along side a local wine which we enjoyed our first night. Stayed at Frog Hollow (down the end of the property) so had the area to ourselves and great outdoor private fireplace for a wine and cheese afternoon. Overall very happy with the facilities provided.

    I liked everything.

Beautiful cottage at a big property, gorgeous location, fireplace was a must 👌. 10 - 15 minutes drive to the Stanthorpe town but far enough from the town to be secluded and quiet.

The only negative thing I can say is that I was expecting a bit more for the included continental breakfast than just cakes and oats. However, it doesn't really bother me, cause the cottage and everything else is wonderful.

The cottage is set on a beautiful big property, and you get a bottle of complimentary local wine upon arrival. There's a fire pit out the back and a log fire inside. There's also a creek out the back, if you're keen for a swim. The birds around the property are well aware that visitors feed them, and they come over in the morning to say 'hello', which was great. The cottage itself has all the comforts you need for a wonderful, quiet weekend getaway. The price of this cottage is far better than most around the area, we'll definitely be back, it was amazing!

The cottages aren't overly private from each other, so doesn't feel as rural as it could - landscaping could assist this. The bed was adequate but bed frame was creaky and pillows a bit flat. No deal breakers - would stay again and would pay a premium if improvements like this were demonstrated.

Conveniently located to the wedding we were attending. The cottage had everything you would need for a nice getaway although we didn't spend much time there. The price point was good compared to many others in the area and it was nice having good water pressure, large shower, filtered drinking water and a carport

The ONLY criticism I have for this wonderful place is personally I found the bed to be a bit too firm.

I loved this stay so much, it was easy to find, the hosts were helpful and respected our space, the cottage was adorable - we loved having a fire place to keep the cottage toasty warm. It was beautifully quiet and clean, you definitely get what you pay for. The complimentary wine and breakfast hamper was a wonderful addition to our stay and the selection of DVDS were perfect.
