Everything was comfy, clean and well organised. The only negative was that the bed was across the end of the hut and could only be accessed from one side, but there was no other way to arrange this.

Breakfast was very generous continental breakfast, with additional goodies. Good location and an easy walk to town for dinner. Used it as a launch to Ben Lomond. Located at an historic site of a convict built water tower. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location. Easy access to the airport.

Loved the cottage as a great place to stay when in transit from Launceston Airport nearby waiting for the rest of my family to arrive by the Spirit of Tasmania, to pick me up. Friendly hosts, gorgeous town, plus Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club has won more of the Penny Farthings Championships at Evandale than any other Aussie club.

What's not to like everything was done 'just right'. Treat yourself to an evening walk through the garden highlighting the water tower under lights - romantic and nostalgic.

A beautiful appointed quaint cottage with everything you need. Both hosts were delightful, helpful and super friendly. Breakfast was sensational with a lovely arrangement of unexpected items - ham and eggs Yummo! :-)

We loved this property because of its handy proximity to the airport, historic attractions, country walks and other amenities. It was cosy, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The Shepherds Hut was a beautiful stay. Julie and her partner were very kind and hospitable, and made our stay the best it could be. A breakfast hamper was also included, and the hut was cozy and gorgeous. It is also in a great location with a short walk to the Main Street in Evandale. We will definitely come back!

Everything about our experience at Shepherd's Quarters was amazing! Gary and Julie are perhaps the best hosts we've ever encountered - super friendly and helpful, they'll bend over backwards to make your experience one to remember. From the basket of goodies on arrival to evening drinks, our stay was so much more than we had expected. The room itself is small but well laid out, so we never really felt cramped, and the facilities were all that we had hoped for. Their property is also beautiful, and Evandale is one of the nicest little towns we've ever visited. We'll definitely be returning soon!
