The hotel was in a great location, right across from the beach. Restaurants and cafe were along the street too. Wasn’t noisy at all so had a good nights sleep. Room was very clean. Parking was in an indoor car park with a designated spot for each hotel room which was great. We stayed in a penthouse which had a mini kitchen, lounge area, bath, queen bed and a balcony with sun loungers and outdoor table and chairs. Would definitely recommend and would happily come back to stay again.

The staff at the counter were not overly friendly and the guy who met us at the door came across as a cocky.

The room needs refurbishment. The ensuite spa bath had a crack, and the silicon patched on it was coming off. Furniture needs to be replaced as well. There was a brown stain on the lounge and a small rip on the solo chair.

The location is excellent, and across just 100 metres is the beach. We had the 2 bedroom deluxe water view apartment on the 8th floor facing the bay( Barrington building), and the view was so beautiful and relaxing. The SB country club, cafe, restaurants, and esplanade are all close by. The Rsl club, Woolies, Fingal Beach, and the Nelsons bay Marina is only a short drive. My family enjoyed our stay, especially my 5 year old grandaughter who had so much fun in the water. There were some issues that needed improvement, but it didn't deter us from having an enjoyable and relaxing time.

The place is slightly old, but not a deal-breaker for us. It adds to the charm of the place IMO :)

We had a wonderful view of the whole stretch of the beach. It was simply awesome. The wife and kids enjoyed sitting at the balcony and just watch the scenery. The gym is a very basic one but served my purpose. So it's cool for me.

Fantastic location with beach across the road and restaurants nearby. We had a great view from our room and lovely little balcony to sit on. Staff very attentive and friendly.

$50 per hour if you ask to have late check out. That’s pretty steep when checkout is 10am.

The AI used for answering questions. Very frustrating to use. We stayed over the Easter long weekend, so it was quite busy, restaurants were full, no tables available etc., but that's to be expected I suppose.

The room we stayed in on the first floor was great, but the shower over the spa bath, even with a handle to hold onto was difficult to get in and out of! Very outdated. Plus the Wyndham presentation to become a member and you’ll be given a $100 to join is a bit full on. We had just checked in and some random bloke who we thought was going to help us with our luggage gives us the whole spiel on the benefits of becoming a member.

The location is great! Across the road from the beach. Restaurants and shops close by. Plus the two pools, outdoor and indoor, spas and gym.

Whitesands section of hotel is not serviced daily. Not part of the experience we wanted. Expected to have the hotel experience with fresh sheets for 3 days or making the bed and not do it ourselves etc Also asked for room away from lifts and got one right next door to lifts after booking 8 weeks ahead.
