This place is an absolute gem. It is relatively expensive, but in my opinion, good value for money.

The spa bath, when booking, I know I pay extra when a spa is involved, but with a notice above the spa about the need to conserve water (which is tank water), it then just makes me feel guilty using the spa. It took up a lot of water , it was huge! Also difficult to operate properly, and required the spa to be full of water to get the jets working. Then the water sprayed everywhere! Communication is quite delayed, whether by email, or phone and my call and emails were not returned, requiring me to follow up by text. The answering machine message is confusing and gives options of whether you wish to speak to the Cellar door, or each individual unit. When booking, I advise that customers need to be aware that it is quite a distance from Pemberton and other local attractions.

It was just amazing, and beyond what I expected. The most private place we have ever stayed, and beautifully decorated, gorgeous views across the property. The restaurant is superb. We accidentally left our purchased wine behind when we left, along with some clothes, these were mailed to us

Not applicable. This was a fantastic stay.

The location, chalet, and everything provided were fantastic. They provided a nice selection of food for breakfast and there was a thoughtful gift of a bottle of their wine.

Minor detail but the windows were not clean so the view was not as good as it could have been from inside.

The accommodation and solitude, plus great food at the restaurant

I needed some assistance with my booking on arrival at 6 pm, and nobody was onsite to ask for assistance, despite me notifying them of my arrival time as per request. I had no idea which chalet I was booked in, and there were 2 left vacant for self check- in. Calling the number listed didn't help either as nobody answered. Very disappointing! There were dust bunnies under the bed and some mould in the shower but in general the chalet was fairly clean.

The chalet was comfortable, modern, and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The view was breathtaking, and all we heard was birdsong. Blissful!

The 4 chalets are very isolated so it was a bit quiet - great if that's what you're after. No restaurants nearby but the BBQ was good and it's easy to get food in Pemberton

Breakfast basket was good except for the gluten free bread which was horrible. Nice situation next to the lake, comfortable and clean, quiet too.

Sadly the winery was closed whilst we stayed so we’re unable to taste the wine or experience the restaurant. Try to make contact with a member of the team via the telephone number given but got no response.

We found it odd that there was nobody to welcome us- the key was in the door. We found two notes, from a previous guest, stating the dining room light had blown and there was no hot water for the spa bath. Although management had been informed, the issues hadn’t been resolved for our stay. Fortunately the shower had hot water.

Great lakeside location, very quiet and private. Spacious chalet with well equipped kitchen. We liked the added bonus of having the essentials for breakfast provided. Good BBQ on the veranda. About a 15 minute drive into local town, Pemberton. We were able to relax for 48 hours.

Would have been nice if someone was at the property to welcome us. Would have been nice if someone came to check and see if things were ok. The keys been left in the door for us was a bit strange.

For what we paid for the accommodation breakfast was a loaf of bread some yoghurt one each of apple orange and pear. Coffee sachets were black inside I think they were old.

The amount of flies and that I didn't stay longer than 3x days.

I was happy the accommodation provided breakfast necessities, which doesn't happen at other accommodation spots. The lake view was amazing especially in the morning with the fog sitting on top. Also would be an incredible spot for winter with the electric fire place. Wasn't expecting the Chalet to be so spacious.

Mattress needs replacing and bedding is not of the same high quality as everything else.

Beautifully designed and appointed chalet with lovely view over dam. Top quality kitchen appliances. Excellent BBQ on covered patio. Surrounded by flowering shrubs. Proximity to forest walks. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the winery restaurant.

Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend away. The chalets are very well equipped, extremely comfortable and have a beautiful view over the lake. The weather was clear, but quite cold while we were there, but the chalet has central heating and a gas log look fire so we were warm and comfortable the whole time. There is a lovely walking track through the forest which we made use of and would recommend to anyone who likes to get out and breathe the fresh air. You can fish in the lake if you wish which is nice if you're into fishing. A relatively short drive into Pemberton. The restaurant on site is open for lunch on the weekends and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Would I go back? Yes!
