You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaOur apartment was not clean when we arrived. Maintenance of the apartment also fell very short and things that needed fixing were not fixed during our stay despite letting G1 know of our dissatisfaction. The outside BBQ area was quite dangerous with loose and broken floor tiles. An accident waiting to happen.
The location of Sirrocco is perfect. Nestled on the esplanade close to everything needed to fulfil a holiday. Shops, surf, supermarket and many dining spots to choose from.

New ZealandI emailed the property manager (G1 Holidays) immediately on arrival as the property was not to a standard to match the nightly rate. Sirocco 202 needs a VERY deep clean and it is apparent that G1 Holidays have not visited this property recently to complete a maintenance check. Carpets were not vacuumed (cordless vac broken), tiled floor was sticky, kitchen cabinets too were sticky and disorganised with chipped crockery, glasses and unusable pots, hotplate elements only partially worked, fridge seals were grimy and no beach towels were provided as per the listing agreement nor were kitchen basics like salt, pepper, oil, kitchen brush and only 3 dishwasher tabs (for a 5 night stay). Outside furniture was dusty, sandy with broken chairs. Pool access path was overgrown plus had an overflowing ashtray (thought it was non smoking!) and littered with bugs. Bathroom essentials were minimal with only 1 toilet roll per toilet plus pocket size shampoo, conditioner and bath soap for our 5 night stay. Beds had not been moved to vac and previous guest personal rubbish left under the bed. Gross! The response from G1 Holidays was insulting... "We were respond to your email on your departure". Being in a prime location means the level of care from the property manager is zero!
The location of Sirocco 202 is excellent. Level 2 with pool access, gym and BBQ facilities also on the same level made it convenient. Direct access from Level 1 to the shopping area and beach is also a plus. But that's it.
