The kitchen is way too small for the amount of people staying there, it was chaos between 5pm and 11pm. We couldn't get in at all and ended up eating out instead. The hostel is built for over 100 people and the kitchen is built for 15 people so the facilities aren't good

Only one pillow, so head was too close to mattress, uncomfortable. Had to ask for second blanket as wasn’t warm enough. Bed was very squeaky, made lots of noise. Not enough bathrooms on my level.

Secluded repurposed house with big comunal area, swimming pool and in west end. Great location. Pizza evenings.

multiple seats outside room caused people to gather outside our window at various times of night and morning causing fractured sleep.

Bathrooms and kitchen not the cleanest. No communal dishes/cooking appliances provided in kitchen also kitchen really busy. Seemed like a lot of long stay residents so fridges jam packed etc

The hostel had lots of communal areas and seating on every level to chill out on which was nice. Cool area near the west end. Allowed us to store luggage for a few hours before our flight.

The kitchen was quite small and got very busy during meal times. There was no plugs next to the beds although an extension cable was provided which was very helpful.

The place was clean and tidy, there was a lot of space to sit and socialise. Plenty of showers. Pool facilities good and staff were lovely.

You need to remember that even if you have private room somebody can seat next to your windows on the benches and there is almost no privacy.

Great welcome reception. Hostel was full but we felt like there is a lot of space. Private room is good option for somebody who would like to be only with close person and don't want to pay a lot.

It is a good place to be as a backpacker. They clean the common areas daily. There is wide space to cook and to have your own food. Many people to know everyday and some activities to do during the week with the people from the hostel.

People talking loud outside room in the middle night till 1 am.

Noisy people talking out side room until 1 am, as has to have windows open to have cool breeze Convenient venue, clean sheets. Able to walk from the city.

Other travelllers noise and rooms in the older area which have seating outside to socialise. Not helpful if you need sleep.

First night got very little sleep due to noise factor. Was shifted to another room in a much quieter area and had a great sleep. Staff extremely accommodating.

The staff was realy nice and they even offered me a dropoff to the Bus terminal! Amazing room, clean and enough space. Kitchen was realy big!

the room we stayed in (8 bed mixed) and shared washing facilities were awful, only 1 from 4 showers worked and the toilets one had no lock and the other no toilet seat. also to note that as they had long term guests some had taken all the lockers as if they were wardrobes

this is hard to describe, what they do well they do very well, what they do badly they do very badly. the staff, atmosphere and kitchen were up there with the best about and we loved the big screen to chill and watch tv. also the pizza and quiz night was really great

How could it be that a licenced plumber hooks up the hot water supply to the cold water setting of the shower and the cold water supply to the hot water ....... At least we ask the question as that was the case in our room...

Excellent location, excellent facilities, very clean & really friendly staff who couldn’t do more for you. We left our laundry bag and so missed our bus but Rob (from the hostel) really kindly took us back to collect and then dropped us at the station so we could make our journey by train so as not to miss our next stop. Would highly recommend.

Could be noisy sometimes and it is not the fault of the hostel or the staff but people are very messy in the dormitory and disrespectful. They took 2 lockers instead of one but the staff was very nice and helped me to get a locker.

Very nice and friendly staff, the common areas are cleaned several times during the day, activities on week-end, pool and nice view of the city
