The cramped dorm room. Got really hot - recommended for installation of small fans. There is an air con but it is directly in front of 2 beds unfortunately just the make up of the room. There is a window to open up , but on the other end of the dorm. If you're in the top bunk- there's not much clearance for your head, so I bumped my head a few times. Maybe if it was a 4 bed rather than 6 bed dorm- might eliminate the above problems Other than than- decent stay and I was able to sleep.

The location, away from the bustle of the city but not too far away. Your own section next to your bed for light and charging and a small shelf A decent size locker next to your bed to hang clothes/ put your luggage in. Comfy beds

Not the best location if coming from the airport. There was a lot of external noise from maintenence and could also hear other rooms. Showers & bathrooms outside of the bedroom areas. A/C unit quite loud.

Great location for walking in to Melbourne City centre. As hostels go this had great facilities for the money paid with an amazing rooftop area. Staff were also super friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds.

No curtains on the bunk beds in the dorms, and bathrooms weren't super clean or looked after, and quite limited for the number of people staying.

Good location, close to most transport links. Really helpful staff. Nice clean rooms, and a beautiful roof terrace to watch the sunset over the city from. Quite a social hostel.

The air conditioner in the room I stayed seems didn’t function well sometimes and make me feel a bit warm and stuffy.

The location is superb. Walking distance to Victoria State Library and Melbourne Central. About 8mins walk to Queen Victoria Market. Facilities like kitchen, laundry provide convenience for travellers. Staffs are quite friendly.

The beds need privacy curtains! A simple addition would make the world of difference. Also the beds need a thicker blanket or maybe an extra blanket - It can get quite cold in Melbourne after all. Wifi also doesn’t seem to work properly for websites like fb and Instagram, so that’s something to keep in mind. Overall it was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit 😊

Loved the location, and the amenities were awesome. So glad there was AC in the rooms! Staff were lovely, and the common areas like the kitchen were cool to hang out in. The view from the top floor was nice - unfortunately the rain meant we couldn’t hang out there though 😓

Weren't assigned beds so you had to find which beds were available in your room but not a big deal.

Great location in the heart of the city, so close to many of the tourist attractions. Helpful staff and great communication prior to arrival. So many quality facilities such as quiet areas, a cinema room, small gym and amazing views of the Melbourne skyline from the rooftop and kitchen. Comfy beds and decent storage. Extended my stay and came back again.

The bed bunks are a little weak constructed, not really felt safe up there, everything moved around :) You need to pay 10$ to store the luggage last day since you have to check out until 10am and you want to use your day ahead before leaving the city.
