It was a public holiday so the restaurant wasn't open. We realised quite late that we didn't have towels and reception had closed early so had to call but eventually towels were delivered. There was a dog in the room below us which woke us barking at 2am.

It was slightly noisy but you have to expect that with it being right next to a road.

A quick stop over in a well equipped motel room, we couldn’t of asked for better facilities. The couple who run the motel were lovely to talk to, providing us with advice for our onward travel.

Extremely spacious room, with a generous bathroom, and comprehensive kitchen facilities. Only a few minutes drive to the centre of Mount Isa. The room was in good condition, though the decor could benefit from some more modern and brighter colours.

Bit noisy. Street noise people walking fighting. Aircon in main room wasn't great. Felt like maybe the servicing of the apartments needed shaping up. We had no extra bin bags. Had to raid toilet paper from other toilets in house.... maybe people steel it so they don't leave much. The dish washing stuff hadn't been refilled when we got there. The lounge made me itchy like it needed cleaning ... dusty. Then the leg broke. The garage door wasn't lockable... it only relied on the electric motor to keep it closed..and the door to inside of the unit wasnt lockable. I would have felt safer if the door was lockable. Stairs... if you have bad knees not great.

There was an electric gate so you are sort of in a compound . Security was good. You had an individual closed garage for your car. Internet great. Water pressure good. Sheets nice.

The relief managers Jan and Sally were excellent and also very kind. The room was spacious and offered everything we needed, wifi worked well, the showers were hot and the location very good, near the town centre. Anyone visiting Mount Isa should also drive to Lake Moondarra nearby and enjoy the excellent scenery and the peacocks.

drinks in the fridge that take up room for my food which i want to keep cool. Do not feel I can take out their drinks as that is not good treatment of cold drinks - need to be kept cold. Other places had a list of drinks etc available in their reception area on a post it note on fridge. This would be much better as I really needed that room for my things. The freezer was small and needed defrosting. My cold bottles did freeze ready for travel which was grreat.

clean towels every day, we stayed 3 days. Bed comfortable, plenty of room. Note: Queens bed are upstairs rooms, I wanted to stay downstairs due to mobility so this was easily changed for me to a King room.

This was the noisiest room I have ever stayed in. Continual dog barking at the back . Trucks in the front People shouting abuse and swearing in the street approx.til 3 AM

Booking.com booked us (aged 74 & 72) upstairs and were unable to change this as no other vacancy.

I would have liked some chairs outside the room - so that we could sit outside. It would also be good to have a security fence and gate - so vehicles were secure at night time, given the increase in crime.

There is no gate providing secure access to the property, so anyone can come onto the premises.

Warm welcome on arrival. We really appreciated the option of a coffee plunger and coffee bags. The room was spacious and well appointed with fridge, toaster, microwave, toiletries and mini bar. Despite being on the main road, the room was pretty quiet. Undercover parking was provided.
